For wide screens the menu in the header works fine. Custom Links (#) open sub items and the visual behavior reflects the nested relationships. Artwork reveals items and sub-items, such as Paintings, which reveals deeper sub-items.
For small screens, clicking on a Custom Link closes the menu when IMO it should do nothing. Sub-items are not indented below the first level. It’s difficult for mobile visitors to understand how the site is structured and I don’t understand if this is by design or if something is broken.
I’d appreciate any pointers, thanks.
]]>don’t know why it’s not showing up like the primary menu we set?
]]>I use Brizy as website builder and I have Spacious as a theme.
When I hover over the sub menu it sometimes disappears and I am unable to select it.
This happens 60% of the time, sometimes it works like it should.
Thank you.
]]>I’ve narrowed it down to being caused by this plugin. I have tried the plugin with multiple themes and tried changing many different settings.
Does anyone have any advice for fixing this issue?
]]>I’m having a problem with sub items not displaying in my menu and I cannot figure out what is causing it. Some sub sub items show up and others do not.
I wondered if there was something wrong with the specific page causing it not to show up in the menu, but I assigned it to a different sub item and it worked there. The sub menu doesn’t seem to be the problem either because it properly displays the sub sub item when I put another sub menu above it (although I do not want another sub menu there).
Some of my sub items display their sub-sub-items and some do not. I cannot figure out what the pattern is.
I thought it might be my theme that’s the problem (I am using Astra). I deactivated it and activated OceanWP. When I was doing the live preview of OceanWP I could see the missing sub items, but then when I activated Ocean WP they were gone again, and still gone when I reactivated Astra.
Can someone please help me with this issue? Thanks!
]]>After several rounds of troubleshooting, I think it has to do with the position of the sub item (2020) within the menu. When it is the sub item at the top of the drop-down, it does not show its sub items (2001RL). But when I put a sub item above it (ex: 2021), the sub items appear (2001RL under 2020).
Can someone help me fix this? Thanks!
]]>I set my menu up to have a Top level header which has two sub items. If I click on one sub item, I can see the page created for it.
If I click on the Top level header, I cannot see the page created for it. I am using Optimal theme. This problem does not occur if I use other themes such as Twenty Seventeen.
How can I solve this issue?
Thank you in advance
Device used- Samsung Galaxy S7, using Chrome and Firefox browsers, Oreo OS.
Visually, the parent menu item that has sub-items shows with the text of the page name and a “+” symbol.
Clicking on this parent menu item expands and exposes the sub-items, which all work fine.
If the parent menu item has NO sub-items, it works fine.
Is there a fix for this?
Thanks!
