Sub Albums

I hope you and your family are safe and well in these trying times.
I’ve been trying to tidy up my website and one of the things I wanted to do was move albums into groups. At the moment all my albums are on their own without any parent albums. What I’m trying to do is create parent albums with sub albums. So at the moment I have British Birds, eg ‘Blue Tit’, ‘Kingfisher’ etc in individual albums and what I want to do is have them all under the parent album ‘British Birds’. What I did was create a Parent Album called ‘British Birds’ and then select the individual albums and change the parent album from None to ‘British Birds’
All seems to work except I now have 2 cases of ‘British Birds’
My albums are in ID order, 1-236
On the 1st page I have 1-113 (some have been deleted) and 236 (British Birds)
Album 236 contains the subalbums I’ve added.
On the 3rd page I have 215-236, So there is a duplicate of album 236. It shows there are 4 subalbums and there is an arrow at the front but if you click it there are no subalbums there. I hope I’ve explained it well.
Am I missing something?

Sub albums dont show

I have a VERY large photo / album database.. You have helped me out before.
The problem I am having now is that SOME of the subfolders dont show when i click the arrow to the left of the top level folder to see the other folders. I switched to flatview also. No luck.

Any ideas??

Link to subalbums do not work

Hello,

after the last update to wppa+ 6.6.15 I encounter some problems. Before it worked all flawlessy.

I made a password protected site “Fotos” with the only content:
[wppa type=”covers” album=”23″]Any comment[/wppa]
There are a lot of albums with a lot of images in each under the album nr. 23.

Now, on Firefox the site is filled with the covers of the subalbums, but all links of the subalbums point to the “Fotos” site.
In Opera neither the covers of the albums are shown.

No idea where to start to find the error.
I use wppa+ on a Multisite, same problems on the other pages.

Probably you need the password and the link to do something. Can you contact me privatly?

You are not allowed to create an album for someone else

Hello,

as administrator I created on a MU page albums for all the sites. Now, when site owners log in, they are not able to create an subfolder.
They can delete it, though.
They can even create a new album and then sub albums.

“You are not allowed to create an album for someone else”

I use User Role Editor, too, but this message seems to me to come from the WPAA plugin.

Any hints or could it be a bug?

link to slideshow instead of thumbnails

Hello,

I’m using the shortcode
[wppa type="album" album="17"][/wppa]
to display covers for a set of sub-albums. When I click on the cover image for each sub-album, it links to a thumbnail view. Is it possible to change this so the cover images link to a slideshow of the sub-album instead?

subalbums and photos on one page?

Hi!

Is it possible to show both subalbums and photos on the same page?

I have a “parent” album that includes three albums and 58 photos, and when I click on the album it takes me to the page that shows the three subalbums, but I need to click on the “next page” at the bottom to get to the 58 photos that are included directly in the mother album.

Can I change it so that both the three subalbums and the first photos show up on the same page?

In case I am not making myself very clear, here is a link to the page in question.
