Editors cannot view subscriber list in admin

Something has changed recently and my client at Editor level can no longer manage the list of subscribers – can’t see the list. Error message instead: “Sorry you cannot list resources”.

I tried adding “list users” capability to her account via the URE plugin but that didn’t make any difference.

Is there a fix for this or do I have to make her admin (prefer not to)?

Subscriber Disappeared

I just began a newsletter, had 1 subscriber and today got a new subscriber. When I check my Subscriber List my new subscriber was listed but my original subscriber was gone. I still have my notification or the original subscriber in my email, but she is missing from my list. She did NOT unsubscribe. What happened?

Lost my subscriber list and widget

I was advised by Bluehost Customer Service to delete my Jetpack account. Once I did,
my entire content sidebar disappeared (it is now blank), along with my subscribe option for my blog. I am also afraid that I’ve lost my list of subscribers.

There is no subscribe widget in my list of widgets, so I can’t add it back into the sidebar.

I appreciate any help with this, as all the instructions I find just say to “find” the subscriber widget and drag it into the sidebar.

subscribers not showing

Hi,

I configured CMP to send me email notification for any new subscribers for the coming soon page, and I get a notification today. But when I check the CMP Subscribers, there is none showing in the list. Note that I have configured the form to use CMP Custom Subscriber List. Any other encountered the same issue and any resolution?

Subscribers become unsubscribed when placing a new order

Hi!

I’ve noticed now that when a customer who is subscribing to a newsletter with us places a new order, but doesn’t tick the box to subscribe to newsletter on the checkout page, the customer gets the status unsubscribed. I have also been running a few tests, and I can see that this is the behaviour of my MailPoet-list.

I’ve been trying to find solutions to this, but can’t find any.

I’ve spoken with a few of my customers about this, and they all say they wanted to stay subscribers to our newsletter. They just thought they didn’t have to tick the box once again.

Do you have any solutions?

Clean subscribers

In order to clean my subscribers list I’d like to check if they are opening the emails. I can check how many times is opened the newsletter but not by each subscriber. Would it be possible? I can make some code to do it.

Can’t find list of site subscribers

I have a tiny self-hosted WP site. I used to be able to access the small list of the site’s subscribers (using WordPress’s built-in subscription tool). However, even after reading through all these forums, I can’t figure out how to get there any more. That ability seems to have vanished. Can anybody help me? I’d love to see who is reading my wee blog.

BTW, I didn’t have Jetpack until just now, and I don’t have Google Analytics. I thought I remembered it saying “Site Stats” on the dashboard’s top bar, but that option reappeared only minutes ago when I installed Jetpack. I am not technical so I’m stuck.

Is there a locally stored list

We have had this plugin installed for some months now but it appears Mailchimp has not been receiving the subscribers, even though the connection is confirmed to the account (green “connected” status displayed).

In dashboard we have 59 subscribers but cannot access them as there doesn’t appear to be a local list stored anywhere (that we can find). Is there a local list?

All we get when we click on the list name in dashboard is this:

Merge fields
Name Tag Type
Email address* EMAIL email
Address ADDRESS address
Birthday BIRTHDAY birthday (MM/DD)
First Name FNAME text
Last Name LNAME text
