Problem with Suckerfish menu the submenus were unable to be click properly

Helo,

I am using the adapt theme from wp explorer.

I recently configured properly the theme.

After several tweakings for some reason when I hover the the dropdown menu above the slider (flexslider)

and then try to click a sub menu it wont click instead its disappearing. I already tried to remove the slider and then try it again but still getting the same output.

I’m really having a hard time figuring this is out.

I dont know if this all about the jquery or what.

simple-sidebar-navigation plugin – css not working

I am using the simple-sidebar-navigation plugin to (shockingly) add navigation to the sidebar of my wordpress site.
im creating a child theme of Twenty Ten, but during my customizations i cannot find a way to change/add css styles to the sidebar nav. ive tried going into the settings and specifying a css document location – that didnt change anything.

I then set it to use the default suckerfish css (again no changes).
then i tried making drastic changes to the suckerfish css (such as setting line height to 90px) and still no visible changes to the site after uploading the css file.

Can somebody tell me how to change the css for this plugin?

Drop down menus disappear in IE

I am working on a WP theme (WPA Parade) where the drop down menus on the navigation disappear when you hover over them in IE. It’s fine in Firefox, Safari, etc. It looks like the menu was created with Sons of Suckerfish code. I have looked through all the solutions including the JS file, using the whatever:hover HTC file and changing the background color for the sfhover. Nothing seems to work. The website is here: www.renochamberorchestra.org. HELP!

IE only JS errors

for some reason I keep getting javascript errors, but only in IE, any ideas? I’ve no idea how to even track it down since it works in everything else.

it especially breaks in ie 9, the menus.js doesn’t even work at all. it should hide the drop down menus, but doesn’t, and that is where ie tells me the error is. but everything looks fine?

Is there a video tutorial that anyone knows of that will show me in DETAIL, how to operate any of the following drop down menu plugins —- DROP DOWN MENU; DROP DOWN MENU MULTI, Superfish or Suckerfish. I can download these plugins fine but I need to know how to make them work. The first two look like they don’t need code changes but I want the menu to replace my current header/Home menu which isn’t doing what I need it to do right now. This is what I’m trying to do.
Home (no link) Reviews (no link) Spotlighting(no link)
By Genre (no link) Musings (link to pg)
Paranormal (link to page) Author (link to pg)
Erotica (link to page)
etc. etc. I will need at least 4 drop down menus for my different categories but I just don’t understand how to utilize the plug in once it’s downloaded. I’m willing to read and learn and help myself, but I need some direction because right now I’m not connecting the dots.

I am using the Menubar plugin with the Suckerfish template. I pretty much have all colours and everyone customised to my liking except for one thing.

– When you click on News in the menubar, it gets highlighted to dark blue (good).
– When you click to go to one of the individual posts, e.g. Quiz Night, the News in the menubar is no longer highlighted, so it looks like you’re not on any particular page (not good).

Can anyone please point me in the right direction. Thanks
