What you can't do with Suffusion?

Almost nothing!

I am crestfallen and disillusioned as I find that the WordPress royalty has deemed to ban Suffusion from the World of WordPress. I have been using WordPress, as a developer, since shortly after it appeared. In the early days having to make significant changes to make it into a real CMS for non-blog websites. For much of that time, I was constantly confronted with perhaps the most challenging aspect of developing with WordPress – installing and evaluating hundreds of themes in the vague hopes of finding one that might both be competently written, and offer sufficient flexibility to meet the needs of a commercial website. Then, I found Suffusion! It worked perfectly, and it offered more flexibility in layout and design than the next ten themes combined. MY frustrating and continuous hunt was over, and for several years, and countless websites, I happily deployed Suffusion with nary a whimper and never an issue. Now, it is gone at the same time I have hundreds of websites dependent on it, and, even as this is written another mid-size website in development with it. I went to update to the latest version and it is not to be found. I am fearful now, that because of a perceived dislike of Sayontan, there may be an active attempt made to break suffusion in some future WP release – causing all that work to go up in smoke and the websites to crash. I say that, not in spite, but only because I can not think of any other reason such a useful tools has been removed from WordPress…

Is there anything that can be done? Is there any way we can get access to this theme back? Or, do I move to Drupal?

Tables in Mobile View

I noticed that the pages do not appear properly on mobile devices, specifically tables on pages.

individual posts work fine, but if one clicks on the above link, the blog displays without styling, like an rss feed. If I log into the blog, it will display properly on my PC. If I log out it does not. It displays fine on mobile devices. I am puzzled.

WPtouch Menu now appears on my Website Navigation

I built www.FrequencyMartialArts.com over a year ago and have been updating the page on on regular basis, even using WPtouch to have it mobile friendly.

After an update of plug-ins tonight, I am now seeing my WPtouch Menu appearing within my desktop navigation and I cannot get it off of the desktop view.

I checked the location for my WPtouch menu and it is not selected for my Navigation Bar Below Header. It is only selected for WPTouch:HeaderMenu

I have gone into the Suffusion Options>Other Graphic Elements and made selections within the Native Navigation Menus, but nothing removes the menu.

WordFence messes up sidebar layout in Suffusion

I am using the latest version of Suffusion and with WordFence activated, the page appears to be narrower, the wide sidebars are reduced to narrow size and all sidebars become scattered over the page underneath the main content.

Blank Box WordPress/Suffusion

Please help me while I still have some hair which I haven’t yet pulled out.

I’ve the latest version of WordPress 4.4.2

I’ve a child theme for Suffusion – Suffu-scion

I haven’t made any changes but updated WordPress which didn’t complete successfully so I FTP’d the files to the server

My site is digitaldoit.com and just under the menu is now a blank box – this box displayed an image and it’s associated post of the most recent 3 posts to the blog before the update.

I cannot for the life of me find why it’s no longer displaying these posts

I have also updated Suffusion to ver. 4.4.9

Any help appreciated

Anyone here used Artisteer? I build small sites in wordpress and Artisteer has been great but is no longer properly supported. How do you rate Suffusion?

Slider in header creating ultra wide container

I have spent the day trying to create a background slideshow in the header, first using Meteor Slides and now with MetaSlider.

As a result of countless searches, I am now getting there except for one problem which I cannot understand.

Both the slideshow plugins create a very wide container which breaches both left and right boundaries of the header. I have moved the slideshow images to the right which leaves an empty white box on the left with a bullet point in Chrome but not in FireFox. FireBug shows this wide container but I don’t seem to be able to get to it.

I am frustrated beyond belief so any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Extra Uneanted Line brakes

Hello
I am using Suffusion Theme, and have a problem with extra / unwanted line brakes.
In my HTML code I have several comments ().
I found out that after removing these comments – the unwanted line brakes disappear.
I have the same problem when using invisible HTML code, such as image map. These are also creating extra line brakes.
It is related to using Suffusion.
Can someone help?
