I am encountering an issue with the forms on our website; this happens to all of them (3). When users submit a form, it remains in the “sending message” state for an extended period before displaying an error message that says, “An error occurred when processing the form, please try again.”

However, despite this error message, the form submissions are still reaching the email inbox successfully.

This issue is causing confusion among our customers, and we need to resolve it as soon as possible. To troubleshoot, I have already tried deactivating all plugins, but the issue persists.

Hi hwk-fr,

I’ve encountered an issue that when our forms are being submitted, we’re receiving several identical form entries. We think the user is being impatient and clicking submit several times or refreshing the page.

Do you have any tips on how to prevent this?

Initially i was going to try and disable the submit button after a successful validated submission via Javascript, but is there a submit hook to allow only one submission per form?

Hi there guys.im new here and i would love to get some help.

Im looking for a plugin that will allow “Subscriber” users to add posts on a specific page.

I want the page to somehow list those posts after they are approved by me.

Any ideas?

Event Creator Info?

I don’t remember how the plugin works by itself, but I somehow disallow users to create events or locations or anything until they have an active account (it may be through another plugin, or it could be a setting that’s native to EOM). Anyway… is there a way I can see which user submits any given event? The website I’m asking about is for a Christian radio station, so we like to filter our users, events, etc. We didn’t get our filtering system in place until a few months after our WP site was active, so there are some users that didn’t go through to same filtering process as others. If there’s a way to see what user created an event, that would help us a lot in our filtering process. If that feature doesn’t exist, I think it would be a handy addition.

P.S. I’m aware that you can see who last edited an event, post, etc if you look at the past versions, but that doesn’t seem to work before an event is published.

I cant find where to change the text inside the buttons “Add A Listing” “View All Listings” etc. Is this in some code?

I also would like to make a small space between these buttons, if possible?

Submit Button not sending top SHARE page

When you press the Submit Button it does not sending to the SHARE page. It registered the entry but you have to refresh/reload page.

Creating a blogging platform with a Superblog

I’m hoping to create a magazine-like site, which allows new users to create an internal blog using a domain like so: username.domain.com.
I’m hoping to allow the users to automatically be able to choose their new domain straight away instead of having to sign up and then sign up a url, like tumblr.com. Possibly allowing my users to sign in using twitter or facebook may be an option too.
It is also important that I have a main “magazine” which allows my users to apply for their articles to be used in the magazine. This would mean that the bloggers have the choice of being able to submit their posts as drafts while simultaneously posting their blog post to their own blog.
I don’t know if this is currently possible though, with or without a plugin.

Please let me know if you are able to let me know how to do any of these, I apologise if some of these are obvious or not.

I have a gallery page that I set up to display reader’s photos, and I’ve created a button graphic that I would like to link to an action similar to the HTML “mailto:”. I need a way to let readers email their photos to me so that I can review and post them.

Is there a way to do this without a plugin or javascript?

I’ve searched all over for the answer to this, and I really hope I haven’t missed something obvious. O_O

Content length problem in posts

WordPress 1.5.2, Mac OS X
WP is working fine for shorter posts, but I have a post I have written that is a bit longer, only 1738 characters. On submission of the post, in both FF and Safari, It just hangs waiting, no error, just a continual wait.

There are no links so it can’t be the ping issue, and I have taken out the Optoins > Writing > Update Services link…

If I truncate the post it will submit fine, any more that 840 characters it seems to just hang.
