I have two sites with your plugin and I made the same steps on the installation.
Cron is run on the web visit. One works and the other says

In the two sites I have not a url to go directly, as https://example.com/matomo but I use Reporting in https://example.com/wp-content/plugins/matomo/app/index.php?module=CoreHome&action=index&idSite=1&period=day&date=yesterday#?idSite=1&period=day&date=yesterday&segment=&category=Dashboard_Dashboard&subcategory=1

If I run manually in Diagnosis/Troubleshooting it works ok and I see in the WordPress the updated analytics.

I have read and search a lot and I don’t find what can be different in both servers.

Any ideas? I can see there is just one table being used for users in the multisite wp_users. I presume one of the fields in usermeta contains the site permission info but unsure which… Is there not some simple way to make all users logins etc. shared amongst all sites in the network?

All Users show up in my Dashboard of the main site, BUT in phpMyAdmin wp-users there is only one user listed.

I’m not understanding how they can all show up on the Dashboard when they are not listed in wp-users.

Any ideas?

I am in need of some help. I love woocommerce. Please don’t let me down!

Before I begin, I have tried WPMU (multisite). Unfortunately root access to a server is required to make WPMU work. I host with HostGator on the Baby shared hosting plan. Our budget does not yet suit a server upgrade so Multisite will not suit us, at least not yet.

We have a series of independent wordpress installs on different domains hosted on the same shared plan with Hostgator. These sites offer 3 things:
° Memberships (different price plans).
° Movie Downloads (pay per download)
° Free Guest Accounts (can preview, member access to 3 movies per month.)

Focusing on the membership operation; what I want to make happen is each membership signup page be hosted on a different site. The user would then be directed to that payment page on that site. Once the transaction is successful however, it would grant the user who is now a paying member access to all sites. BUT Ive ran into a problem there too; all sites send the user the generic wordpress welcome email. I dont want that, I want them to only receive their order confirmation plus one email if need be from the transaction site.

So essentially we are sharing a registered user across multiple sites in a network fashion.

Ive tried user synchronization from WPML, but I receive sync errors.

Ive tried configuring the wp installs to share the same user database but I receive error where I get the white page of death on wp-admin of the main site.

I have been trying to work on this for over a year now and I end up banging my head against the wall. Im so frustrated. I know there just has to be a way.

My guess is I need to somehow:
° Install WP on every site
° Install Woocommerce on each site
° Install the usual plugins we use
° Install the Membership Plugin we use

But, sync WooCommerce Orders and users along with the membership plugin. But how?

I did try connecting the sites via wordpress rest api and the same with woocommerce, that went beyond my expertise and step by step instructions, if that is the route to go would better suit.

Please, I beg can you help? Tell me what I need to make this happen without WP multisite (hopefully).

The reason for this platform is:
° each site is actually a 3rd party site. We want control of the transaction and security of the billing.
° The need for one SSL to keep cost down.
° We pay a minimal annual fee for our merchant act. Everything processed by manual entry. (Offline). No other member platform plugins offer offline processing by emailing and creating a secure postback off the customer’s card details.
° Gives us better control of the protection of the customer and our brand when working with 3rd party partners.

I know this might not apply to a bunch of folks, but I was wondering if there is a way to have the Page Security & Membership plugin automatically sync groups/settings from the main site to each (selected) sub site? I’m currently using the Multi Site User Manager plug in, which syncs the users among all the sites, but as it stands, it seems like I would have to go in to each sub site and recreate each group and assign the proper users to each group.

Here’s my theory: I would use a membership plugin on my main site to have users sign up. The registration form would have custom check boxes for which content they are interested in. These check boxes would correspond to groups (and for this purpose, sub sites). Once they are registered and assigned to the proper group, they would have access only to the sites/pages that they are ‘allowed.’ I would have to manually add them to the right group (on the main site) when their registration is received, and I would have to set each page on each sub site with the proper group access, but their group memberships would automatically transfer to each sub site. I think this would work…maybe???

I don’t know if using the same table in the database would solve this, perhaps all of the group info in the main site’s tables? Like I said, I am new, but I did see a way to use one table for users in multiple WordPress installations without using Multisite, so it got me thinking about this as a possibility too…

Sorry for the long details, but I’m hoping it will help you understand what I’m trying to accomplish and why I’ve also tried the Groups plugin but it doesn’t sync either, but I will post this question in that support forum as well.
