issues with tags cloud

Hello, I’m working at a page with a basic_tagcloud which I’ve called with its shortcode [ngg src="tags" display="basic_tagcloud"].
First: is there a shortcode to show show_count number?
I could manage to achieve this result overriding the default values in wp-includes/category-template.php:830 (e.g. from 'show_count' => 0, to 'show_count' => 1,). That worked but obviously hard coding isn’t the best way to work it out.
So, either someone knows a proper shortcode or suggest a better solution to modify my child-theme functions.php
Second: if I click on a tag of the tagcloud a gallery is regularly opened and everything looks fine but if I visit the same gallery a second time the appearance is messed up (i.e. instead of having 3 columns the thumbs pile up one over the other in a single column). Does anyone know why that happens and how to avoid this behaviour?
btw I find it’s a weird thing that when someone goes to a gallery via tagcloud there is no way to go back to the tagcloud page… am I doing something wong?
However I temporarily added an old style javascript:history.back() link, but isn’t there another way?

Photo Gallery Tags Cloud

This may be a stupid question, I have looked through the forums and cannot find anyone with the same issue; I would really like to include the photo gallery tags cloud as a widget on one of my pages, however, when I go into the widget section in WordPress, the other 2 widgets included in the plugin appear, but not the one I actually want to use. Am I missing something obvious? Or is there a specific reason why the widget does not show up?

Hello guys,

Congratulations for this great plugin, i always use it when it comes to gallery … but this time i have a special need.

Problem is simple, how can i do to directly open a gallery in lightbox with a simple text link (so no thumbnails at all). Must be possible for sure but can’t figure out how to do that.

I have a blog and I’m using the TAG Cloud widget on my right sidebar. After about a year though, I have to say that my Tag cloud starts to show its age. Some of those tags are now outdated, about games that were released a year ago. I want my tag cloud to only show the tags that were included in blog posts published in the last 6 months.

Is that feasible ? I know next to nothing in html and programming, that is why I,m using WordPress. Thank you for your consideration.

Problem with the number of subjects in the tag cloud

Hello,

I use your plugin to put tags on the pictures to easily find them in the library. It works very well.
BUT there is a problem with the widget for tag cloud that I displayed in the sidebar.

Explanation: When a user hovers over a tag with the mouse, the tooltip shows the number of subjects concerned. And this number considers the images to which I assigned the tag.
But when the user clicks on the tag, the archive page displays only the posts affected by this keyword and not the images. (Anyway, I do not want to display the images in the archives)

Problem: as tags cloud considers the number of images with the keyword, it distorts the outcome of the number of subjects concerned.

Questions: Is there a way to not record the images in the number of subjects involved in a tag?

If not, how to delete informations that has been stored in the database? I tried to disable the plugin, and even remove it, but the number of images involved in a tag still accounted for the total subjects concerned.
