I don’t put up bad reviews often but… Rather callously Wp-engine have moved repeater fields into the pro version without any legacy support – for those that own the former addon.

Now defacing the site with warnings that have to be removed by the hosting company! Out of order.

Takeover search feature can’t get to work

Hi!
Have been using your plugin soo long it’s the best for the purpose. So thanks for that

I have been trying to add a grid as the search results, using the “Takeover” feature that’s listed in the changelog.

I’ve added a new post grid and then put the following code into the search.php file.

However it doesn’t show the queried posts that it should, it just shows them all in date order.

I have left the normal query there so you can see the actual results underneath. It makes no difference when I remove that section.

It is using a basic twenty fifteen or twenty twelve search results page.

Hope you could help me figure out how to get this working?

I need to renew my licence for the premium version, however this feature should be working in the base plugin anyway?

After years of providing a small yet stable feature set, this plugin has suddenly turned into something different altogether.

I am feeling tricked and am not sure how this could be approved.

Will uninstall immediately and add ProfilePress to the blacklist.

Can I takeover this plugin? It seems to be abandoned after 2 years w/o update

When I try to login to www.adafagan.co.za admin I got: https://www.wakkerstroom.co.za/login/?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.adafagan.co.za%2Fwp-admin%2Findex.php&reauth=1
This problem of Wakkerstoom site taking over, happens most of the time.

And when my icon does show up, I think my site is working, but I can’t login into admin backend with my username or password. And when request a new password, the emails I receive for new password, their link doesn’t work. Just tells you to ask for new password again, again. Can’t get get any help there!

And if you act as someone searching the internet for Ada Fagan’s website, you get: https://www.adafagan.co.za/artist-style-of-ada-fagan/ The Wakkerstroom’s site pops up there too!

And if my website does show up when searching the internet, My site doesn’t work properly. You click the menu to get only one page, it doesn’t show the other drop-down pages, either.

My internet provider can’t help me, and say it’s a WordPress problem.

How come another website is linked to mine?
And how can it be fixed?

WordPress please help sort out the mess.

The previous link /wp-admin has changed to AMP version without user/pass box

Pro – Page editing, modal popups appear instead of “take over” option

Pro version. Odd bug.

When I try to edit a page that someone else is editing, instead of giving me a pop-up that says “XXX is editing, click here to take over”, it now gives the message “xxx is editing, click here to view popup modals”. When I click the button I’m taken to a list of my modals.

In order to kick someone out I need to deactivate the plugin, then reactivate it as soon as I’m able to edit the page.

Anyone have this issue and is there any fix? I need this resolved immediately or I need my money back.

Hi Benjamin, great work with the plugin, it’s just the right balance of features and simplicity for me. I use your plugin on several of my sites regularly and have built a few extra features and made a few bug fixes so that it works better for me.

I can see that there are quite a few bug reports and feature requests over the last six months which have not been addressed. My changes resolve a few of these among other things, I’d love to make my modifications available to all.

Is there a way that I can submit these changes to the live product? Can you add me as a contributing developer, or, if you are not wanting to work on this plugin anymore, can I just take it over and make the changes directly?

Takeover advertisement help

I’m trying to turn the background of the site into an advertisement, where the left and right margins past the content area are ads that can be clicked. I’m having trouble figuring out how to actually code that in CSS or HTML, and there’s not a lot online that I’ve seen. If anyone could offer help, that would be great.
