Hello,

I am trying to understand test emails sent for badges (achievements) earned.

I have some defaults set up in the plugin settings, but I customize the text of the email for the specific badge in the individual badge settings.

But when I try to send a test email, what I get is a placeholder image, “You unlocked the Sample Achievement Type Sample Achievement by completing the following steps:” and some placeholder steps, not what I entered.

The subject is also “Cheryl, you unlocked the Sample Achievement Type Sample Achievement”

How can I get my custom email for the badge to work? And to send the correct test email?

Hello,

I am editing your recipe the 7-day delay review email. The first time I edited I was able to send a test, but after further editing I can no longer find that option. Would you please tell me how I can send myself a test before publishing and making the automation live.

Wordfence won’t send emails (IONOS host only)

I have wordfence (free version) installed on over a dozen sites. Some of them do not do well at automatically sending alerts or reports to my email, all of them will send a test email with no issues via the diagnostics panel. Until recently (some time between Feb. 5 and now), this function no longer works on this site in the link, which is on an IONOS server. IONOS links me to this page (https://www.ionos.com/help/hosting/no-sending-of-emails-with-a-different-sender-address/) and says that due to security reasons they are blocking “alternative or empty” email addresses. Wordfence sends in this format: wordpress@domain which IONOS interprets as an invalid address. Does the premium version send alerts differently? While I was on chat with IONOS I did a new install and test email on a different IONOS hosted site, which worked fine which tells me there is either something else going on, or they are applying their rules randomly. They tell me that Wordfence is going to cease to work on all their sites. Is this true? Are other hosts about to make this change that will block all alerts from Wordfence?

I am attempting to create automated emails in a simple format but want to send them to myself as a test first. I have seen the other forum topic that shows the send test button at the top right of the page, but no such button exists for me. Is there a new location for the test button that I’m not seeing? Thank you!

Neither the test emails nor emails from saved templates are being delivered. Is there something I am missing when setting this up?

Mail Options>> “Activate WordPress automatic email when an user is created or edited.”

Enable mail templates is checked.

An email template is loaded.

There is no error message.

When I send a test email, a pop-up window says:
“Test email sent.”

Why am I not receiving these emails as a test or after import?

The other systems I am using that also deliver email notifications are BuddyBoss and Formulator PRO.

Are there any known conflicts with either? Thank you!

I have conducted several tests and verified that the plugin is functioning correctly when sending emails to my Google account. However, when attempting to send emails to Outlook Microsoft accounts, no messages are received. I have thoroughly reviewed the plugin settings and configurations but have been unable to identify the root cause of this issue.

I have the latest version of the Postman SMTP and when it shows that my settings are properly configured as it shows a green check mark, yet when i click on “test mail” it fails saying that, “This email has empty body”

To my astonishment, i was not even given the option to write any email body!!

Hint: i can see the logs and i see other emails successfully being sent out but the test email fails!??

What is wrong and how can i trace that?
