Hello!

Two things:

1.
We’re trying to create a Smart Slider with a text bar that sits on the outside of the slide to the right, but the result floats right of the slider itself, instead of as a text box within the boundaries of the CSS containers.

Is it possible to achieve what I’m describing with the standard Default or Thumbnail – Horizontal sliders, or am I asking for more than is possible?

2.
While not shown, I’ve also tried setting the same text bar to show on hover so it at least fits within the frame. This works, but I cannot control the width of the text bar except for by text. Is it not possible to have it fly out as a 1/3rd or half panel over the slide?

It might be good to keep the text bar at the bottom of the images consistent with each other.

How would I do this along with removing the hearts on each listing?

Hi! Super newbie here.
We contracted an outside person to develop our current site. There have been a handful of mistakes: wrong addresses, phone numbers, email contacts, etc. I’ve been able to change most of them (and update the site in other ways) but can’t seem to find where the text is in the top bar, separate from the Page, to edit.
The frustrating thing is I WAS able to find it once to change the phone number, but I need to find it again to correct the email address and for the life of me have no idea. (I feel like I truly am going mad)

Don't see my format bar

It’s been a while, but I can’t seem to see my format bar/text bar (you know the one you can put your text bold, underline, etc..) at the top when I want to write a new post on my blog. I can’t even click on the tap “visual” or “text”. When I write an article my text appears white, I have to select it to see what I’ve written. And today, it seems that I can’t add pictures. I’m getting frustrated. Anyone can help with this?

One topic: creating a text bar (navigation, banner, menu)

I would like to create a text bar above or below the header with the following words across, “lockouts, jump starts, tire changes”. Along with a link to those pages.

1. what is the correct name for this? “text bar”, “banner”, “navigation bar”, menu”.. so I can search properly next time.

2. I’ve been trying figure out how to get rid of the menu buttons (home, our services, contact roadside waiters) that are above the header. Can I do this somewhere in the menus or pages without deleting the black navigation bar below the header? I want to keep the black navigation bar.

3. Can I replace the home, our services, contact roadside waiters that’s above the header with just text i want, “lockouts, jump starts, tire changes”?

Text opacity problem in meta background

I have a problem I can’t seem to get around. In my Arras theme I have node based featured posts with a black text bar, like you find on slideshow preview headers. I went into the tapestries section and edited the opacity of this bar to make it lighter. However, as I lighten the opacity of the background, the text also lightens along with it. I cannot figure out how to change the opacity of the background bar without also affecting the text. Does anyone know a way to solve this problem?

I am looking for a plugin that will allow me to put a simple line of text that will appear at the top of each post that will act as an announcement banner.

If anyone knows of such a plugin that would be great!
