I have a Genesis Child news theme on all my sites. I am trying to change to a new theme. However, I cannot get preview or install a new theme to work.
Would security plugins like “Defender” and “Wordfence” give me issues with this?
Other plugins?

The problem arose suddenly, the drop downs stopped working and the Latest Posts dissapered. Also the bottom (Footer) links stopped pointing to proper pages.
Any help with figuring out the cause be super helpfull. ]]>

- Home page banner-slider is not config as per the documents
- Services sections are not config
- Which widgets need to add in the theme supports are not define
- Customizing ? Theme Settings is not reflecting
- Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Home section >> services Section not working properly and not reflection on page .
There are other issues also please share the solutions ..

Description of the Issue:
In a clean WordPress installation with no plugins, I’ve observed that many elements are displaying broken styles, creating an unsatisfactory user experience. Interestingly, these issues are not apparent in the block editor, where everything seems fine. However, when I check the actual pages on the front end, certain styles and functionalities are missing or inconsistent.
Specific Issues Encountered Include:
- Navigation menus appear to be completely broken on the front end, despite looking fine in the block editor.
- Styles for list elements, which should prevent bullet points from displaying, are not working as expected. This affects elements like archive listings.
- Margins for social media icons and various other small design elements seem to be off, leading to an overall rough and unpleasant appearance.

I’ve attempted to troubleshoot by checking the theme’s files, disabled the child theme, even re-downloaded the theme directly from the www.ads-software.com. However, I haven’t been able to pinpoint the exact cause of these issues. I also noticed that some columns functionality isn’t working as well – stack on mobile doesn’t seem to have any effect.

So long story short, I’ve found that somehow it’s my (simple) theme that’s causing only products to show up and not sub categories. Yes I tested in 2022 and in that theme it does display the sub categories as intended.
I’ve stripped my theme down to the barest essentials and it still will only display categories vs showing me the sub categories.
Does anyone know what in a theme would hinder sub categories from showing?
