I heard good things about this plugin until I used it. It says my theme name and text domain/slug do not match. They do so why is it flagging a non-existent error?

Does it work on wpms? Can I change my theme name?

Hey there,
I’ve been using clef for some time and really like it and havent had issues in my personal setups. But I do have one issue that’s very strange and it’s only happening on my girlfriend’s WP installation. I have configured her site using my account credentials so I can see it in the clef dashboard. Like my other 2 applications, I can see and manage everything but the issue is at login, more specifically when I’m logged with the mobile and want to login to the backend, it shows the name of the theme used. Nowhere have I found a setting or option that could remove or modify this.
I’m not sure how this could happen.

Any ideas?

My WordPress version is 4.6–es_ES, however I would like to know how to get rid of the theme name and credits… Sometimes you can do it from appearance then customize. But in this theme I can’t do it.
The theme’s name is Zerif Lite.

Hi, I am using Spacious theme. At the bottom of the page, I can see that it is always mentioned ‘Powered by wordpress. Theme: Spacious’ I know that a person can find out theme name any how and hack the site, if any one really wants to and there is no use of hiding this information, but this doesnot look that good for my readers and hence, I would like to hide this information.

Please guide me step by step as I am new to wordpress and also, I have no idea about coding. Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello. I am trying to find the name of a theme that a site is using. I believe they have hidden the name of the theme. But I would really like to know the name of this theme or a similar theme.

I heard there is a way to find a theme’s name even when it is hidden in this way.

Does anyone know the theme that that site is using OR any similar themes (the layout).

Each time a theme gets a new version does it reset to include the version theme at the bottom ? My website https://mtransitions.com appeared with changes about a month ago. I’d like to know how to remove that bottom.

Previously paid someone who was great to help tweak the few things I found too time consuming to do myself. This appeared perhaps with a version update. Thanks !

Non-hyphenated Theme Slug

Hi. I’m getting the following warning:

WARNING: Your theme appears to be in the wrong directory for the theme name. The directory name must match the slug of the theme. This theme’s correct slug and text-domain is my-theme.

As an example my theme name is “My Theme” however I would like this to reside in a theme folder called “mytheme” and not “my-theme” which is saying is required.

I notice the WordPress themes of Twenty Fifteen and below all manage to reside in a non-hyphenated folder but not sure how they do this. Any ideas?
