style.css
and some code in functions.php
. Will these changes be lost after updating the theme?
]]>“Your theme (Sinatra) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:
When I click the button to view affected template, when I look at the “override” section these are the details:
“sinatra/woocommerce/cart/cart.php, sinatra/woocommerce/cart/cross-sells.php
version 4.4.0 is out of date. The core version is 9.6.0,
sinatra/woocommerce/cart/proceed-to-checkout-button.php, sinatra/woocommerce/checkout/form-checkout.php
version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 9.4.0,
sinatra/woocommerce/content-single-product.php,
sinatra/woocommerce/product-searchform.php,
sinatra/woocommerce/single-product/meta.php,
sinatra/woocommerce/single-product/rating.php, sinatra/woocommerce/single-product/tabs/tabs.php
version 3.8.0 is out of date. The core version is 9.6.0″
There are two options there: “ Learn how to update | Clear system status theme info cache“
I don’t know what any of this means or which one to choose.
The Sinatra theme I am using has not been updated since 2023! As it comes with WooCommerce templates and these have changed since 2023.
Can you please create an update for the theme?!
Thank you
]]>after any theme update the image of the header is missing. I think there is a problem in my childtheme, but I took over the management of the site so I don’t really know why certain php files are in the childtheme folder like header-banner.php. I think I have to change things there. Someone who can have a look with me at this?
]]>The Busiprof version I’m using is 2.1.1, installed in 2018. I’ve tried to update it to the latest version, 2.4.8, but the projects on the Homepage disappeared, so I returned to the old version (2.1.1). All other pages were ok. I guess it’s better to update it, since the way it is, I can’t edit the services. I believe that’s because I’m using an old version. Also, the menu doesn’t work in the cell phone. In case I update the theme to the latest version, what should I do so that it works properly? Should I install any plugin? I’ve seen that Webrit companion plugin in is not available anymore…
Thanks,
Elisa
]]>after a theme update the customize color we use for the website changes. I don’t have this issue with other themes I use for different websites. Also the banner disappearce because it can not find the file which is located in the include folder.
Is there a way to prevent this? Should I add something in the child theme folder?
]]>Additionally, no matter what I do, I cannot turn off the parchment image. It remains regardless of what options I attempt to change.
Troubleshooting steps I’ve already taken:
Hoping for any assistance in getting the slider to work again, or at least being able to remove the massive block of parchment so that at least content is above the fold.
Thanks!
I tried various different logo files, but I still get the ‘?’ icon. No idea what to do. And there are no threads on how to do fix this. Same for the menu, not sure where to start.
Can someone help please
]]>My client took over a website from another organization that was removing the site due to an admin retiring. The site was built in 2012 and barely updated since then. The theme they used was made by a developer that I don’t think exists anymore (Oodletech). The site, which is massive, uses TablePress A LOT amongst a heaping handful of other plugins for specific functionality. (phew) What I found is that if the PHP updates to 8.0 the theme breaks, and that if I switch to, say, the WordPress 2024 or 2023 theme, the site loses most of its functionality. So now I am watching the clock to see when GoDaddy will force the update to 8.0 and FUBAR the website.
Looking for recommendations and/or advise on updating the theme to something that will preserve the functionality of the website.
Thanks for your time.
