Upload Theme button broken

Dear community,

I’d like to upload a Theme “Avada” to my wordpress page. However, the upload button seems to be broken. I navigate to Design >> Themes >> Add Theme >> Upload Theme but nothing happens once I clicked the button. Do you know how to fix this? I cleared cache several times and tried with different browsers (Edge and Firefox).

Theme Upload: missing style.css

Trying to upload Contest-Gallery theme and immediately get

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme installation failed.

Removed, re-downloaded, same results. The theme looks great, happy to purchase it if it works, but want to test it first. Any ideas?

hi there, i was trying to upload the avada theme to abasic strato account. but there is always a internal server error. the server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and as unable to complete your request. what does this mean and how can i solve this problem?

I downloaded Avada and then uploaded it to my WordPress and now I am only getting this error and I cannot get into my account at all.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49152 bytes) in /home/newguy69/public_html/wp-admin/menu.php on line 97

Hi,

I am getting the below error when uploading Genesis and child theme (Ingrid) within WordPress. I am new to this and struggling to workout how I resolve this error. The error appears when I activate the Ingrid child theme. I have gone into the files within my cPanel and the file path /home/debtherapy85/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 524 does not exist. I am using Go Daddy hosting.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Uploading a Theme

MAJOR newbie to all of this… trying to upload a purchased theme (Qaween), and getting an error message each time: “413 Request Entity Too Large.” There’s a note below the upload button that says the max file size is 25MB; my zip file is 12.9MB. What am I missing?

Hello,

I’ve made my first theme and submitted for review. After a few days, the reviewers said I need to change the screenshot to something that reflect the actual theme. I made the change but didn’t know where to upload the theme again.

1. I tried to checkout my theme’s svn repo and commit the change to the server but got this message:
Access to ‘/!svn/me’ forbidden
My ID and password were correct.

2. I also try to zip the theme with the new screenshot and upload as an attachment. I haven’t heard from the reviewer for 9 days. I’m not complaining. I know there are many themes need to be reviewed. My only question is was that the right way to submit the changes to theme for another review or I need to use SVN to upload the changes.

If I have to use svn, please show me how.
