Issue with Section’s “Inherit Inner Width from Theme” Setting

I’m using Astra with UAG and am seeing an issue/bug with the “Section” blocks setting of “Inherit Inner Width from Theme” in that it does NOT update if the theme width is changed.

The “Inherit Inner Width from Theme” (which only displays when the Section is set to “Full Width”) does pull the accurate site width from the Customizer settings (set within Customizer > Global > Container > Container Width) at first.

However, if that Container Width is changed – the Sections on the various site pages do not reflect that change and will continue to use whatever the old site width is until the page is re-saved/updated.

That means if we change the site width, we’d have to go through & save every individual page throughout the site to get the layouts to use the new site width.

That’s not good.

Is there any solution for this?

Hi,

since I reinstalled my theme due to malware issues I can no longer fix the content width. I can see it well from the admin and even from my laptop when I am not logged but it seems to be wider than the screen on any other device.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi I can’t seem together the lovely grid that is on the sample home page of the Crimson Rose theme and although I managed to add a collage in it has become long and thin rather than being big enough to read the post titles. It looks like the width is too small but I can’t see how to change it. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks for any help!
PS I was thinking of uninstalling and re-installing the theme but I can’t find that as an option on any of the themes I’ve downloaded.
