I can see some bad reviews for this plugin from a few years ago. Since then, Themeisle has taken over development, and it has gone from strength to strength. We use it on a few sites, and it works really well, and is constantly being improved – including listening to our feedback for new feature suggestions.

Great Development Progression

Over the years I have watched many wp.org themes progress and some become less favorable in their options and editor interface. Neve is currently one of my go-to themes for starting sites because it has the less editor intensive options to create a great pages.

You can use the Neve Options or the Otter Builder without the options overriding or interfering with the inherit use of the WP block Editor. Low residual code is left in the HTML side of your edits.

Some of the non-pro options in the Customizer are more than enough to get a fantastic layout or pages. that being, even without the Starter skins, the provided resources works fine.

I could say _much_ more about Neve and its advantages over [other] themes but suffice to say I like how ThemeIsle is creating a good product that is not built on “disenfranchising” Blocks or Gutenberg. They have ENHANCED it, to the point of total user friendly and practical usability.

PPOM update has broken my product pages

A week ago I contacted Themeisle about PPOM breaking my product pages. I sent links to show the problem exactly. I received a couple responses first from Irinel, then from Andreea, but my last 3 emails have gone unanswered. The free version of PPOM works only if I rollback to version 32.0.9 and PRO version doesn’t work at all. I was asked to set up your “Parrot” access which I did, but never received an update or explanation of what the problem might be. I have used PPOM for years and my site relies on it heavily. Can’t someone at Themeisle respond to my problem?

Mailpoet blocks the functioning of Neve Pro theme

Hi,

I’m building a WP website + Woocommerce webshop.
I fist installed the Neve theme from ThemeIsle, but I coudn’t adjust what I wanted so I upgraded to Neve Pro.

After activating Neve Pro, the ‘customizer’ environment didn’t work anymore.
I got this error message (Dutch):
“Het geüploade bestand overschreed het upload_max_filesize commando in php.ini.”
Translated to English with Deepl:
“The uploaded file exceeded the upload_max_filesize command in php.ini.”

So I contacted both ThemeIsle as my hosting provider, Vimexx.
I deactivated all installed plugins and activated them one by one.
The plugin causing trouble was MailPoet.

Apparently the issue is that I am running up against the maximum number of concurrent connections to the database. They suggested I contact the developers of MailPoet to ask to reduce the number of connections to the database, because it’s not a limit that Vimexx adjust on shared hosting.

Themeisle’s PHP code has an error

According to Themeisle’s documentation, I should be able to move the Add a Reply box up, so it’s above the existing comments (see?https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1137-how-to-display-the-comment-box-above-the-comments-in-neve?).

However, I get this error when I add Themeisle’s code to my Child Funtions file:

“Your PHP code changes were rolled back due to an error on line 38 of file wp-content/themes/child-neve/functions.php. Please fix and try saving again.
syntax error, unexpected ‘}’, expecting end of file”

How do I fix this, please?

Sendinblue, Elementor, Hestia Pro issues

This is complicated. The form field labels are not visible; they used to be black, now they are white (#ffffff). When I go to Appearance > Customize, a Sendinblue dashboard appears. Same if I try to customize via the Hestia Pro theme. I don’t know where Sendinblue came from; it is not listed under Plugins. Malware was detected but has been cleaned. So, I cannot access CSS or page attributes to change the font or background colors. When I try to edit the page with Elementor, I get a spinning circle and cannot access the Elements. Changing templates doesn’t work. Tried to update Hestia Pro but got a “not available” message. Sent a cry for help to ThemeIsle and am awaiting word. Any ideas? Thanks!

Links, buttons and menu turned blank (NEVE)

Hi there!
I recently installed neve (free) theme and then I noticed something wierd. If you open the side menu and hover with the mouse over an item, the text will vanish/dessapear. I have the same issue with the “neve powered by wordpress” at the end of the page. The link will just scale down or something. And the same for “default buttons”… they just scale down or so. Huge SCAMMMERS – Can’t Get My REFUND [NEVE] [THEMEISLE]

I am totally disapointed with the HORRIBLE support service THEMEISLE.COM provides to their customers.
,I’ve been asking for refunds for my purchase, once the THEME does not suits my needs and they always send us to the same contact page – and only send by email the automatic response.

I hope after this complaint THEMEISLE contact me and process my REFUND REQUEST and and show they are not SCAMMERS.
