I am just trying to find the plugin “Theme Changer & Showcase”, but it is not in the WP website and the authors’ page is broken.

Can anyone share it with me please?

It would help me a lot!

ThemeSwitcher – Select by directory rather than CSS file Theme Name

The ThemeSwitcher plugin can be very slow to load via URL when there are a large number of themes. I’m thinking this might be caused by having to scan the CSS files for theme name. Is it possible to adjust the plugin so that it selects by theme directory, rather than by Theme Name in the CSS file? This would also solve the problem of themes which have the same name since the directory has to be unique.

I use Ryan Boren’s themeswitcher plugin on my site, a believer’s journal, with five different themes available. My question: Some of the themes have customized page templates (e.g. for links, archives, contact) while others do not. Is there any way of writing a page to one theme that will be available only when that theme is selected and not to other themes? Pages customarily are part of the common database and appear in all themes. In other words, could I write a contact page for the Vidiyal theme which would only appear on the site when that theme is selected?

I’m not following here.. What makes a theme unpublished? Is there something you can set/clear? And if I do set something, can I test it without users seeing it?

I have uploaded 2 themes and they are both active as soon as you upload them.
I would like to work on a new theme before the users see it, but can’t unless I upload it.. Sounds like catch21.

no captions for lightbox in BlueBlack theme

A peculiarity … I am using themeswitcher on my site with five themes. I have just added the new BlueBlack theme ( a great theme!). I use the lightbox js (0.8) plugin which works fine with all themes, but when BlueBlack is activated the lightbox-enlarged images show no caption/title. Captions/titles show in all other themes. I don’t know where to begin to address this …

Theme Switcher Problem

I’ve been trying to use the theme switcher plugin (https://dev.wp-plugins.org/wiki/ThemeSwitcher), and have encountered a strange issue. If I have the theme I want as default set as the default theme the plugin doesn’t work. If I have my other theme as the one users see first, the plugin works fine. Any ideas of what the issue is and how to fix it?

I have recently added the themeswitcher plugin to my site, and adapted two new themes I particularly like (“Island After Sunset” and “Platinum”). I would be interested in feedback on the overall design. The two aforementioned themes and layouts give a distinctively different look and feel to the site. I am wondering if the other two (“Falling Leaves” and “Misty Look”) are simply redundant, though they do offer different looks and color schemes. Having four themes from which to choose is fun, but I am wondering if I should simplify to just two or maybe three options.

Bug – themeswitcher conflict when deleting a theme

Hi.
A weird BUG.

This is with the fresh install of WP 2.1
When the themeswitcher plugin is active (I fixed it once I disabled the plugin !)

If I am currently having the active theme being, let’s say – X.
And then I delete the folder of that theme (X).

I will revert to the default kubric theme with the massage:
“The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme.”
But then I can’t change that default theme to anything else any more, each attempt to change the theme, brings me back to cubrick with the massage:
“The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme.”

Is this possible? I don’t want a header text for it. I want it to look like the live search box where the words “Theme Switcher” is inside the drop down box.

Hello,
I installed ThemeSwitcher Plugin. Works fine. As long as I don’t try to change something to my theme going through the wp-admin. There, when I try loading one of the files (let’s say Sidebar.php, for instance) it automatically drives me to the blog. I checked the targeted urls, there are the same whe n the plugin is or not activated
for instance :
https://www.pellizzari.net/blog/wp-admin/theme-editor.php?file=wp-content/themes/pellizzari/sidebar.php&theme=PELLIZZA

but, i don’t go to theme-editor.php?… i immediately go the blog itself.
