I’m encountering an issue with my WordPress website (version 6.4.3) where Google Search Console is indexing pages that I’ve explicitly excluded using Yoast SEO settings.
Here’s the setup:
For reference, here are two types of pages causing issues:
I’ve checked and rechecked the Yoast SEO settings, ensuring that these content types are indeed set to “Out” for indexing.
Can anyone offer insights into why Google Search Console might still be indexing these pages despite Yoast SEO settings indicating otherwise? Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
]]>I am having an issue that seems to be a caching issue where when I add something to my woocommerce cart, I leave the cart and go to another page on my site, and come back to the cart, it shows there is nothing in the cart in the cart widget in the corner. However, if you click into the cart, you can see the contents of the cart and it indeed does contain products.
If I come back later on, maybe 1 hour or more, it seems like the cart widget correctly reflects what is in the cart. This is very odd.
Why would the cart widget initially show there is nothing in the cart when I add something, leave to another page and come back right away?
If I add something to the cart and do not leave the shop page, the cart widget correctly reflects what is in the cart until I leave to another page on my site and come back.
Like I said, if I come back later on, its almost like it reconciles itself and the cart widget reflects what is actually in the cart.
Lets said I came back after an hour and by cart shows a shirt for $25 in the cart, I can leave to another page and come back and it still shows that amount. However if I add another $25 shirt to make it $50 in the cart, if I leave to another page and come back, it shows $25 and not $50. The cart widget seems to erase only the newly added amount.
Using Thrive Themes for theme builder, and they attempted to help by excluding the Product and Shop pages, however, it appears that the Shop and Product pages are still being cached despite the exclusion.
I hope this makes sense! Happy to talk more.
Thanks in advance
]]>I have found that when I activate your plugin on my site, it doesn’t allow me to update plugins. When I deactivate the plugin, I find myself able to update the plugins. I am using WPEngine with Thrive themes. Do you think there is any compatibility issue with your plugin?
]]>It appears that the WP RSS Aggregator plugin is conflicting with Thrive Themes Post List>Filter option:https://horea-thrivethemes.tinytake.com/msc/NjY5NTM2M18xOTI3ODQzNQ
This is a recording of the error. Could you please provide a solution?
Thrive themes is not familiar with your code and why this 500 error is shown.
Thanks!
Jodi
When I deactivated the plugin, the issue was resolved.
It seems that Akismet anti-spam is also conflicting with my theme.
Thus, the problem is both WPP and Akismet conflicting with Thrive Theme Builder.
Potentially, the problem is on the side of Thrive Themes?
]]>We use Thrive Themes (https://thrivethemes.com) with our WordPress instance. Recently, we decided to use Contact Form 7 as well. Set up was easy, but in some cases, we are getting double submissions. This results in the user who filled out the form getting two emails as well as our getting two notifications.
I’ve contacted the Thrive Themes team and they sent me this: “Could you ask them to explain how their submission process works?” They are keen to get CF7 working smoothly in their system.
Thank you,
David
