problem slider does not display images

Photon can't display thumbnails

Hi,

This is an issue that I’ve seen in other websites we’ve created.
When Photon is activated, the thumbnails don’t show up.
The code generated by JetPack is as follows:

Once we open the post, the images look fine.

My guess is that my Theme (Skeleton) is trying to generate the thumbs using thumb.php and for some reason that escapes my mind, Photon isn’t compatible with it.

Any advice welcome.

Hello!

I am in need of some help. The website is www.erythrinasjewels.com and I am using a Simplicity theme I purchased from Woo Themes. My problem is my slide show image, my thumbnails in the portfolio in the home page and the thumbnails in the portfolio page itself does not show. I have updated to the latest WP framework. I have updated the thumb.php files also. I have set 0777 to my uploads folder and the folders in it. My functions folder is in 755 and the thumb.php as well. I have communicated with my server administrator also and he said that the thumb.php seems to be working but still no thumbs display. I have raised this issue to Woo Themes and they replied that it is out of their scope as they give support to those issues related to their themes. Please help. I’ve been so stressed looking for an answer. Thanks in advance.

PageSpeed says to compress thumb.php images

I ran PageSpeed Insights on my sight and it recommended I losslessly compress 4 files. The problem is, the path it gives for the files is

I compressed the slider-local-search.png file and put it in the appropriate upload folder, but it’s not reflecting the change in the thumb.php file. How do I fix this? My site is scoring 73 on the pagespeed insights and it is only a small site.

Page View Statistics/thumb.php

Hoping someone can shed some light on this. I have been checking into my Urchin web statistics and the page views are out of this world, however, it’s counting thumb.php as a page view and I’m just trying to get a grasp why. That file is re-sizing the images, thumbnails, etc. Just wondering if it is counted every time an image displays on a page or every time an image is opened up.

Want to give potential sponsors the most accurate page view info possible.
