WordPress 6.4.1 Support

When upgrading my WordPress site to 6.4.1, the format of the Calendar view is not what is was in prior versions of WordPress. It’s a textual view instead of the nice, interactive view. Has this version been tested with WP 6.4.1?

Same issue…
with PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.1 …

after deactivating the security plugin, the issue still resists… so, it seems to be related with wordpress update… and timely plugin

Event calendar problem – ICS files etc.

A very convoluted problem. Our calendar plugin (Timely All in One) changed its nature recently and began charging according to the number of events you want to keep on your calendar. The powers-that-be at my company want all past events (back to 2019) kept for future reference, with the result that we’re 498/500 events and the next step up is another $450.00, which is a bit of a shock for a not-for-profit like us. Data can be extracted from the calendar in ICS format, and I have created a new Timely calendar under a different name, only to find that of course pulling 2019/2020 out and into the new calendar runs up against the free plugin/100 event limit, and needs $150 to extend. Argh. Can anyone think of a solution that will let us, once we’ve pulled the old events out into an ICS file, display them to users/playes/organisers for their information in future in a friendly way regardless of IT literacy and software requirements?
All help welcomed while I have a little hair left …

If you want more than just a ‘click ‘n drag’ calendar for your events, then the ‘Timely Event’ calendar plugin is the one for you. The basic ‘no frills’ plugin is a good staring place as it gives you lots of ‘customizing’ possibilities even in the non-paid for plugin.

Once you understand the ‘structure’ of how everything works you will be happy with how you can layout your events in the calendar. Some of the ‘editing’ may feel a tad challenging at first but the old adage applies here: ‘practice makes perfect’.

Support for the plugin, should you run into a problem, is there but using the ‘free’ plugin means you will have to dig for answers though. In my experience, though, support has been pretty prompt and helpful.

Calendar not working on page

Okay, on the calendar page … it’s weird … or it is just not working. It was working perfectly. We did change from .info to .org … because the .info was the development website, so-to-speak, so the .org would not go down until we were done with the new website …

Sooooooo, in saying that … we when put the website on the .org … the calendar page is doing what it is doing. It’s not that pretty list that it was before.

How can I fix this? So, your wonderful calendar (which I do love this calendar plugin) will work like it is suppose to?

timely event calendar

My All in one Event Calendar just started showing this error message in the event editor:

Warning: http_build_query(): Parameter 1 expected to be Array or Object. Incorrect value given in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas16_data03/44/3661244/html/wp-includes/Requests/Transport/cURL.php on line 508

Also get a message saying google maps didn’t load correctly. See the jquery console for details.

Unable to sort by event categories

I have different categories setup. When I choose a category in the month view it won’t shows the category for a split second and then defaults to everything.

I am also unable to sort by calendar by the calendar views.

Any ideas?

Problems with Excerpt Length for Agenda View

I am trying to make only an excerpt of the event to show in Agenda view when the ‘+’ is selected. I edited agenda.twig like so:

changed {{ event.post_excerpt | raw }} to {{ event.post_excerpt | truncate( 80 ) | raw }}

HOWEVER, this ONLY works on second page load. It shows the whole event at first, and only shows an excerpt when the page is then refreshed. As my client’s event descriptions are very long, this needs to work consistently.

how to set feed refresh

The documentation that I could find is not the same as my version of timely calendar pro 2.5.12. I have already setup feeds. I can not see where to setup how often it pulls from the calendar feeds that were setup. The image shows I can select timing. When I select to edit that feed I not given a choice.

The feed is pulling correctly. When the calendar was updated the updates did not come over to the main calendar. It did when I pulled that one event again. Do updates not get brought over when the feed happens from the original calendar?

Removal of all event times

Could you tell me how I can hide/remove the start AND finish times for an event in the Timely All In One Events Calendar WP plugin.

My events are free online discussions and each country has its own timezone therefore I would like to simply remove the start/finish times, as they differ, and have a date only.

I can then put the specific times for each timezone within the ‘details’ section.

I’m migrating my website to a new server. The site runs fine on the old server, but the new server is having issues with the Timely All-In-One calendar displaying.

I’ve tried all the solutions I’ve been able to find online.

Increased memory_limit to 256 MB

Added these three lines to my wp-config.php:

define(‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’);
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’);
ini_set(‘memory_limit’,’256M’);

Deactivated all my plugins.

Changed calendar themes.

Reverted to older versions of this plugin.

Saved settings.

I’m having no luck. Any additional ideas?
