Post Title Above Featured Image and in Meta Bar

I’ve noticed that recently a plain text version of my blog post titles are appearing above the featured images on category pages and also in the meta bar before the Read More button. See screen shot!

It isn’t true.. step 3 didn’t work for me..

I’ve installed wp all import and this plugin.. the idea to install 2 plugins with similar names, banners and descriptions to do exactly the same thing is very perturbing.. When it done.. I’ve downloaded a csv file sample from your official website.. just adding my images links to test.. and voila! On the step 3 nothing is working!.. the “title & description” never deployed.. the other sections neither.. so I cannot drag & drop anything.. and finally.. in the step 4 you’ll see a: “Warning: your title is blank.” message.. but.. of course !! obviuosly it’s blank because you couldn’t do anything before because everything is blocked !! but the best part is comming !! when you try to go to step 5 you couldn’t !! because you’ll receive a new beautiful message like below !!

“Unique ID is currently empty and must be set. If you are not sure what to use as a Unique ID, click Auto-detect.”

So.. just as recommendation !.. the complexity of your plugin must at least import a monster as a final result ! but must import something.. you cannot block the entire importing process because products don’t have “ID”.. or something.. you must give possibility to fix these things after ! but allow people using your plugin to go forward.. not block them!

Right now i feel that I really waste my time!.. Good bye and good luck!!

Still get Blogname in the title in SERP

Hi @cybr I have the “Remove Blogname from Title” checked and I have the Title Fix extension also installed and still I get my blogname in the end for some of my posts in the SERP.

Can you help me fix it?

default events page works but title says page not found

Hi,

The default events URL works fine, but when i visit it the title of the page is ‘Page not found’ I have WordPress SEO by yoast installed, could this be causing a conflict?

also the theme installed is a custom made theme which seems very poorly designed, but im not a coder.

just wanted to know if this is a common problem before i start deactivating plugins on this clients website?

I’m running WP 3.3.1 AFAIK all plugins updated. My theme is Atahualpa 3.7.1

A recent post is called “Indonesia gets investment status, but where’s the investment?”

BUT, On the blog home page and in the post page the title reads “Indonesia gets” and all the other words in the title are missing.

BUT, the permalink is correct:

and when you go to it the browser title bar at the very top of your screen also reads correctly.

This is the only post like this. All other posts are fine.

Odd, no?

Any thoughts?

Metatags Title is "Document Moved"

I have not been able to get Google to rank my page despite quite a bit of work, so I checked the site www.mypagerank.net and chose the option Meta Tag Analysis for my site https://ihvnapp4that.info/wordpress. The title meta tag says “document moved.” I imagine that would cause Google to NOT rank my page. Please tell me how I can rectify. I already updated the other sections of metatags by choosing the options under my theme (Askit).

WordPress Changed the Title of One of My Posts [NSFW]

One of my posts has the wrong title. I’m using an SEO plugin, and the title and the title that displays when an excerpt is being shown are all correct.

The title that it has now is actually the “alt” text for another post altogether. I don’t get it.

I thought it was a database error, so I deleted the post and reposted the exactly article and pictures as a new post. The url was even different because …2010/01/… to …2010/02/… after I reposted it. Shouldn’t this have solved the problem when, if it had been a database error?

I should also add that when I first reposted this article, the title worked correctly and I thought that I had fixed the problem. The next time I loaded the page up… same thing.

The page in question is https://www.seductionheadquarters.com/2010/02/first-date-tips-for-men/ although I didn’t get anything out of looking at the code myself.

Please Help!
