And after contacted Microsoft support to solve this issue they asked if the application (SMTP Mailer plug-in) supports TLS 1.2 or not?

Microsoft is phasing-out TLS1.0 and TLS1.1 for Microsoft356 resulting in below error when trying to send email trough a Microsoft365 mailbox.

SMTP ERROR: Password command failed: 421 4.7.66 TLS 1.0 and 1.1 are not supported. Please upgrade/update your client to support TLS 1.2. Visit https://aka.ms/smtp_auth_tls.

I can’t find anything in the TLS versions supported by WP Easy SMTP. Is TLS1.2 already supported and if yes, since which version? A site of our customer is running V1.3.6.

I migrated my site to a faster server in December. Some plugins had to be reconnected. Avalara tax was previously installed and working on my site prior to the migration however, after the migration the plugin is not only disconnected but I cannot locate it anywhere in my plugins and I cannot locate the avatax or avalara plugin when I do a search for new plugins. Normally I can always find a plugin in the plugin section but avalara is gone. Avalara told me to reach out to WordPress because they are the ones who created a plugin that will work with avatax.

My site is version 5.9 shop isle theme and not hosted by woocommerce.

I do recall a prompt to upgrade avalara to a newer version. I’m not sure if me not upgrading at the time is why it appears to be gone.

Also, I need to know if my site is TLS 1.2 Compliant because Avalara will no longer be usings 1.0 and 1.1.

I got a mail from Swish developers:
“From November 1st 2020, Swish will only support TLS 1.2 for all API communication with Swish. Note that from Sept 15th and onwards we only support TLS 1.2 in Sandbox as preparation for the change in Production November 1st. “

Is that anything I need to do manually if using your Plugin?

I was informed by DIBS that older versions of TLS will be deactivated on may 14th 2018.

I am wondering if this plugin then will be incompatibile?

The mails says that if TLS 1.2 is supported, the change will not affect you.

However, i dont really know what to look for to ensure that 1.2 is supported? Any ideas?

Truly useful, works flawlessly for us.

Some hosting setups need a different variation on this idea, and so some SMTP plugins might not work under your unique setup. Works for us under highly secure PCI-DSS compliant setup on dedicated server.
