I just tried to ask for help here. Owing no doubt to the ambiguity of whether to interpret code as example to be read for support or as, well, html to be interpreted in WordPress, my post reads wrong now. I went back and tried to reply to myself while supplying the code without angle brackets, in hope that’d show. But this time it wouldn’t let me do so because it marked my whole thread as closed! Which no doubt means no one else can reply to help me either. This is sinister, not to mention leaving me helpless.

Hi Y’all.

1) I forgot to add a link to topic “yop poll mobile issues”. I tried to post the link beneath and got a message that topic is closed.
Can we re-open it?

2) What I believe happened: I posted a topic to review my website a few days ago. I gave it a bad title so I tried to edit but was unsuccessful. I re-posted topic with a better title. (2 identical posts with different titles) I got an email that the 1st (bad title) topic would be removed by the admin. They instead removed the 2nd, good one. I re-posted the good one.

Now…an unrelated topic of mine is closed prematurely.
Am I on the bad dog list?

Why does it close my topics???

I was recommended to ask my question on https://en.forums.wordpress.com/
but the split second i post something,it auto closes my topic. why?

Ok, I just totally posted a Topic in the Multi Site section where I am having a problem w/ Images and links

However, it seems as though wordpress has Closed My Topics w/ out allowing anyone to respond. I created another topic and the same thing happened.

The topic is called Subdomains improperly linking images

PLEASE HELP

I just posted a questions in the “How-To and Troubleshooting” forum and wanted to edit the post (spelling error) just seconds later -and got the message “Topic is closed”. Anyone know what this is or who to contact? Strange..?
