SQL errors after transfer

Hello!
After successfully translating the page, I transferred the whole site to a new domain (see above).(WP All-in-One-Migration Tool)

All is working except translatepress (language switcher is working).

Erors are:
`last_error
disable_automatic_translations Ja
details Missing table wpsf_trp_dictionary_de_de_it_it . To regenerate tables, try going to Settings->TranslatePress->General tab and Save Settings.

But the table exists!
SELECT count( * ) FROM wpsf_trp_dictionary_de_de_it_it WHERE 1
count(*) = 451

I tried already saving the translatepress preferences, which didn’t help.
I tried translating a word on the website, which worked!
So I then copied the table manually from the old site to the new one, which worked (site is now translated)
I still get the errors, that the tables couldn’t be found.

Any hints what could going on there?

Many problems after transferring Website

So. I messed up. I promised a friend i will create his website. i am not experienced at all. so i started with creating a subdomain. everything was perfect there. then i decided to back up the website so i move the files to the main domain. ok everything looks good now everything is the same but.. i noticed that i couldnt do anything. i started changing permissions through cpanel. I tried making the site more SEO friendly because it is very slow because of the many images and their size. i installed a plugin to optimise them and it says that they are not writeable. i go check the permissions and everything is writable and their parent directory. plus the folder the pictures are in on cpanel it says it is only 4kb. dont know if this intentional. but i need some major help because the site wont show up on google even when i type the domain name.

Hello! We just tried to transfer our site from 000webhost.com to another host company and after all the procedure we had the following error

Hi,

Great plugin, I can read cookies and undertake SQL querys on DB so this is great. I want to pass some PHP data back to the Java script. I tried setcookies(….) but no cookies are set so can’t transfer that way. I tried echo “” and nothing appears. The snippet is in the body of the wordpress page.
I also tried
echo ‘’;
and it worked! yay

I would like to know where will be located the backup files;
I mean when I start the migration the transfer package is located on the hosting server or on my pc ?
I don’t have enough space on the server to make the copy of the website.

Hi,

I wondered if you could help me.

I recently had a domain name with Gandi.net and a website with Moonfruit. I have created a new wordpress website which is on the localhost at the moment. Moonfruit changed the name servers to WordPress name servers. I have just paid for a years hosting with ukcheaphosts and have requested to transfer the domain to them too. The status said it is currently pending transfer. Is there anything i need to do or anything that can be done to spend it up as the website is now down and I am losing business.

Updating an old WordPress site

Our business has an old WordPress blog that is difficult to customise and manage. We would like to create a new WordPress blog with a different theme and domain name. Is it possible to create the new blog under the same username and account? How can I check if the old blog is a premium account? And if so, can one premium membership pay for the running of 2 blogs while we customise the new and transfer old content?

Question about developing

Hello everybody. My question is simple:)

I have a website that is hosted in hostgator in my reseller account. I want to develop the same website from scratch but i want the existing website to be online as i develop the new one. I spoke with hostgator live chat and we concluded that there are 3 options of doing that :

1. Develop the website in localhost (xampp, wamp, etc) and then tranfer it to server when its done.
2. Create a sample account in WHM (ex. example.com), develop the website, change names and links and then point the nameservers to the correct account.
3. Develop the website in subdomain in the existing account, and after is done, then change the urls to the correct without subdomains.

Wich one do you suggest?I am looking forward for your opinions. New methods are also welcome.

Move to a new host problem

Hello,

I am trying to move https://www.martiallawusa.com to my host. I had the previous owner send me the SQL and a GZIP of the entire folder in his cpanel.

1. When he pushed me the domain I added my nameservers (4 nameservers now) about 14 hours ago.

2. Then I uploaded the GZIP via FTP to my host after creating an addon domain.

3. Then I created a new database in my cpanel. Then I imported the SQL via phpmyAdmin in my cpanel.

4. Then I went into the wp-config file and changed the DB name, DB user, password.

As you can see the site only pulls up the main page but when you click on something it says, “Error establishing a database connection” and this is for even the back-end login (wp-login)

Should I take away the old nameservers and see what happens?

transferring to a new domain files load but posts don't

Hello guys,

i just ran into a problem i’m transferring a friends blog and all the files load but i cant see any post or pages.

this is what i did

i backup the files and database,
open the database file and replace the old domain with the new domain,
upload themes, plugins and uploads, to the new domain
then import the new database (new domain was previously added)
logged in to the administrator panel to see if everything was there (and it was)
then i went into the site to see if the blog was working,
it loads all menus, post and page tiles, i can click on the links and it take me to the right page, but when i do so the page shows a 404 error. and doesn’t load the content.

can someone help me with this i don’t understand what is happening
