PHP Incompatibility in loading System/Custom translation file

Activate PHP debug. (my site is now on PHP 8.3, but I observed same/similar effect on PHP 8.0, PHP 8.1 and PHP 8.2 (plugin presents long list of incompatibility messages on PHP 8.4, so it’s not working on PHP 8.4)
Loco Translate: Create copy of Author translation file (System or Custom); observed on PL translation.
My site reports: Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the the-events-calendar domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/pbadmin/domains/eborowiec.pl/public_html/dev/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114
Translations added in the System/Custom file are ignored (by opening the page with Events Calendar), later (by clicking some options inside the calendar) they may appear, but calendar functionality is disturbed. [I didn’t try to prepare a precise use case – my focus is on step 3.]

Hello,

i am updating a translated plugin. Someone told, that the translation will be overwritten by the new version. But I could save the translation file outside of the plugin and reuse it after the update.

Which file(s) do I have to save and where do I find them.

Spanish Translation

Hello,
WordPress Translation is one of my weakness, so my question maybe is dumb.
To get my spanish translation working I have to rename “kadence-es_ES.po” and .mo to “es_ES.po” and .mo in Kadence languages folder. But these files are overwritten on updates, so I have to install Loco translate and copy them to a custom folder.
What’s going on?

Hi, after update to version 1.2.0 my translation files not work anymore.
What are the correct translation files file names and path?

I rollback to previous version 1.1.2 and in this version, my translation files works:

In version 1.2.0 i try this – but nothing works, widget still in ENG:

Error upload translation files

I can not upload new german translation files.

Old file on server has got 136 strings.
My New file has got 167 strings

I see this error message:
0 translations were added

Please check it.

Language files email translation

I edited the language files (using the German version) with Poedit and put them in wp-content > languages > woocommerce. This works fine, but I don’t find the email text for the customers’ order email.

I also tried editing the email templates directly and put them into my child theme in woocommerce > templates > emails > e.g. “customer-on-hold-order.php”, but there are no visible changes.

Any suggestions what goes wrong?

Translating using a .po file

Hello,

I am trying to create translation files (.mo and .po) using “poedit”, but it’s not working for some reason.

WP locale is set properly, and all other translations are working, so it’s only a plugin-related issue as far as I can tell.

Can you please explains how to do it right, or refer me to a guide that explains this ?
