The Jetpack site is inaccessible or returned an error: transport error – HTTP status code was not 200 (500) [-32300]
I was sent multiple links to retry, and every time it returns this error. I cannot remove Jetpack as a plugin as I have a personal account that uses it as a server, so I don’t know what to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
]]>This is with all plugins on and all off.
Any suggestions?
]]>Note: this is the second time I am setting up Jetpack on this website. It worked perfectly for the first time, however I had to reinstall it and then it suddenly stopped working. (I have the same issue on another website that I manage)
]]>from the wordpress website:
https://wordpress.com/post/www.website_name.com
just get “Saving of the draft failed” nothing extra!
The website and admin pages are all fine, and drafts/posts can be made from there with no issues.
The hosting company have come up with a fix and I now need to add a command to the .htaccess file in the root of the public_htnl:
allow from all
This appears a little broad, and their support staff are little lost in why this change is needed and if there is any broader security issues from the change! I think my hosting provider is not going to understand Jetpack well enough to provide any better fix, so hold no hope there!
I was hoping to hear back from anyone here if there is a more targetted fix, based on their Jetpack knowledge of the files that need this access for the cUrl/API access, or if there is a file permission fix that could be applied to just the required files or databases etc?
Sadly I’m unable to get any information on the change they have made which created the issue, so can’t tackle it from that angle either
thanks in advance
Richard
We’re trying to activate Jetpack for them and keep seeing the following error (server name redacted):
Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site https://server-name [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed cURL error 6: Couldn\'t resolve host \'server-name\']
My best understanding is that this issue stems from the inability of the XML-RPC file to accept incoming connections. However, since this is an intranet site and is not publically browsable, that’s to be expected, is it not?
I’m curious whether there’s a workaround for this, or if an intranet use case is simply not supported by Jetpack?
Any guidance here would be helpful. Thanks!

my website is www.sharondalynn.com
Any help would be appreciated.

Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site https://”mysitename.com”[IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed cURL error 52: Empty reply from server]
I bought the domain name and storage, installed the wordpress manually.
Any idea?
Thanks.

I’m using a branch copy of the automattic syndication v2 plugin and have recently started getting errors in two situations. Both were working previously. Both symptoms are the same.
We have a centralized multi-site where we author and curate our posts and uses syndication v2 for posting new content out.
We have a stand alone install that uses JetPack JSON API to receive posts inserts/updates.
What we are seeing now is that saving a new post as draft does not push through. In looking at the syndication log the message that comes back is “Whoops, the provided date is invalid.”. I can publish a post and then change the status to draft and it will create the post on the remote site and, subsequently, change the status to draft. That’s one of our current work arounds. The other is that it seems that when you do finally publish that this will push through.
The other issue we have is that if there is an iframe in the post content, it won’t synch out at all. If you previously pushed it and then add the iframe the update will fail. The message back from the post in both instances is as follows: The Jetpack site is inaccessible or returned an error: transport error – HTTP status code was not 200 (403) [-32300]
I, obviously, would like to remedy these issues.
One other things, since I’m here, I can send a post to trash on the publishing site and this will push through but a permanent delete will not. We’ve just ignored this and manually cleaned up but this, to me, seems like a defect too.

The jetpack site is inaccessible or returned an error: transport error – HTTP status code was not 200 (404) [32300] [jetpack_error]
Website and iPad are fully updated with last versions of WordPress.
I can view and post via the website, just not the iPad app.
Thanks for the help

Every time I try to publish a post or save draft it comes up “Oops! An error occurred while loading.
The Jetpack site is inaccessible or returned an error: transport error – HTTP status code was not 200 (500) [-32300]”. It happened month ago and you fixed it perfectly. Now it’s happening again.
I tried to update Jetpack but I also can’t access Plugins or Settings or anything. When I try it always goes to this: “Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request….”
Anyone got any ideas as to why I am getting this?
