Deleting an Order Status

When a “Order Status” is Trashed, any orders with this status disappear from the order list.

If Restored, they appear again.

?If Trashed and permanently deleted, the orders forever disappear from the order list page. With no way to bring back, unless manually go into the database and add a new order status to that order.

Proper QUICK FIX SIMPLE functionality should disable and block the ability to trash an order status that is currently in use or assigned to an order.

ADVANCED functionality should ask user what order status to switch orders to that have the trashed status assigned.

Subscribed Subscribers Going to Trash

Hello, for some reason my Trash has 798 people and there are several who have the Status Subscribed and a List is selected that isn’t a Trashed list. Is there a reason they would be in the Trash? Of that 798, there are just shy of 300 that are Subscribed and have a List selected, the latest of which subscribed 5 days ago.

My “WordPress Users” list is in the trash because I do not send to this list, but I have another list. Does having this list in the trash automatically put Subscribers in the trash even though they have not subscribed to a list yet?

When they do subscribe shouldn’t they be added to the “All” and “Subscribed” tabs on the Subscriber’s list and not in the Trash?

As for other settings that would potentially affect this, I have “Stop sending to inactive subscribers” set to “Never” and Signup Confirmation is turned on.

Users are being created through another plugin’s registration form and then I am checking to see if a subscriber exists, adding a subscriber if they don’t, and adding them to my list after they go through a checkout process via the MailPoet API’s functions similarly to as described in the Usage Examples.

This plugin is horrible and buggy. If you use WP Bakery do not use this plugin. It randomly adds snippets using WP Bakery code as you page description!!!! And they don’t have a fix to remove it. I have not been able to remove it after 2 days going back and forth with them. The schema feature is buggy it adds random video links which creates an error with google because there is no thumbnail associated with it and again after 2 days I still cannot fix it. That’s just with one page that I know of, I have to search the whole site now to see what damage this plugin has done. It’s trashed our rankings. Support is unhelpful in fixing it, always blames it on something else. Also they create multiple site-maps without any explanation other than google seems to like it better?? I have 28 sitemaps now, which I just discovered. I use SE Ranking and they alerted me that they cannot see our sitemap which I am assuming is because it is now 28 randomly named sitemaps which are not even hooked up to anyalytics, WTF!

Can’t trash products in Woocmmerce App

Hi,

Just started using Jetpack an the Woocommerce Android App. Everything in the App works flawless, except for 1 thing, I can’t change a product status to ‘Trashed’. Any other product status change (draft, review) works. I’m on the latest plugins (WC 4.9 and Jetpack 9.3.1). Stripped all other plugins and themes: nothing.

Is there somewhere an authorization problem?
I have connected the WordPress and Woocommerce account, but just let say the emailaddress of this account is ‘[email protected]’. I’m using this account in the Woocommerce Android App and it works; can do anything except trashing.

I don’t have a local account in my WordPress installation with the emailaddress ‘[email protected]’. Makes me wonder which permissions does the Jetpack plugin gives to the Woocommerce App.
Is it the ‘Shop manager’ role or Admin?

___trashed-2 Appearing in some of my page URLs

There appears to be an issue where ___trashed-2 appears in some of my links after typing in the correct permalink, it will immediately redirect to /___trashed-2/page instead of just /page. I have checked to see if they are in the trash and there are no pages and have already tried disabling plugins to see if it will remove the issue and it will not. I’m wondering if there is anything else I can do to fix the issue. This is only present on some of my pages aswell which is odd.

Good morning, what is happening is really strange.

I currently work with AVADA and WPML and never before have I had a similar problem.

The plugin is set up correctly, the page is properly structured and works well.

However, for some strange reason, it is occasionally moved to the trash and, therefore, when a 404 error occurs, the default page of AVADA appears.

So, I republish the page and open the plugin settings.

I see that no page is set up !!

Once again, I set the custom page.

Save and close.

… and then the problem repeats itself.

In your opinion, is it a problem related to AVADA, WPML or something else?

Posts getting automatically trashed

The last week or so, all new posts and pages that I create get trashed automatically at some point overnight or early the next day. I have looked to see if there’s an option on the individual posts and pages for expiration and there is not. Is there an overall setting that I am missing that maybe came with a new WP update? I did recently update WordPress 5.3.2

It is not happening to older posts and pages, just the ones I’m currently working on, which is frustrating.

Website pages moved to trash daily

Every day, at about 4 minutes past 5 Queensland time, two of our web pages move from published to trash. The pages are our home page (are you ready for a midlife renaissance?) and the landing page for our forum (The Wine bar). At the same time, in settings>reading the setting reverts back to the default of showing the blog post page rather than a static home page (at least visitors to the site are seeing our blog and not an error message).
By looking at logs of activity for the website I have narrowed it down to this action…
Tribe_trash_event_cron which runs daily at this time. I have forced this action to run at another time and confirmed that it is indeed causing these two pages to be moved to trash.
I cannot find any instances of anyone else having this problem or any suggestions for a fix anywhere.
Is anyone able to help me out with this one please?

Elementor+Permalink+Edit= trashed

Hi,
I switched over to elementor from Page Builder. I like Elementor, but each time I try to publish the new page, the end of the address is
__trashed/
__trashed-1/
__trashed-2/

This page has been published with the Trashed ending, but I dont necessarily want all of my pages ending with trashed titles.

I do not see where the pages where placed in the “trash” as they are listed in with all of the Page Builder pages (which show up fine.)

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Can not delete a page that should be trashed

Hi there.

Fore some reason a page or a page version that should have been trashed sticks in the list of published pages and no matter what I try to do with that page, it does not work.
Changes are not saved, wheter I try to edit the content, the name, the slug, date, publication status etc.

The actual page is ok ( https://sowjet.de/de/newsletter/ ) but the https://sowjet.de/de/newsletter__trashed/ version also sticks in our site index.
