Travelify theme mobile optimisation problem

Hi all;

My website https://www.cantravelwilltravel.com was showing fine on mobile devices but since Friday it is no longer showing correctly. In fact it has no images, layout or the correct colour. It appears fine on laptops/ desktops etc.

The only thing I’ve changed is some of the css just to amend the layout of the home page apart from that I haven’t touched anything else.

Does anyone have any ideas what may have caused the problem and how I can resolve it. I do have jetpack installed could this have anything to do with it?

Travelify Theme – Featured slider on Home page has formatting issues with IE

Hello folks,

I am a fan of travelify theme as it is one of the best themes that I have worked with. Kudos to the development team.

Recently I am having issues with Featured slider on Home page which has formatting issues with IE 11.

Website: https://www.travelcalorie.com (you can the difference in home page display between Chrome and IE)

On Chrome and Safari it works fine but with IE (verison 11), the width of featured slider on home page is cut-off from both the sides.

Any help is greatly appreciated on tips to fix the issue.

Featured image in TravelifyTheme

I really don’t even know if this is where I’m supposed to be. Is there another forum just for the Travelify theme?

I would love if someone could let me know why the featured image is not working in the travelify theme.

I set a header image, but I do not want that image on every page, so I thought well maybe I could just use a featured image on each page, so I can choose a different photo for each page. Well featured image isn’t working at all!

Problem With Page Load Speed In Travelify Theme

I have tested about 300 themes, but the best one that could satisfy me so far , was Travelify. I have only one problem with this theme. It is unexpectedly slow. I have not over-loaded the theme with images or plugins. The only image I added to the first page of my website, was the website logo.

I have not overloaded the website with plugins either. I have deactivated all the plugins except Advanced Menu, Jalali (Persian date) calendar, and the very light statistical plugin that I have designed myself. I have already tested all those plugins and they were not slowing down the website (Though I am not quite sure). I am a new comer in the world of WordPress. I don’t really know the reason behind slow page load time, but I have one idea. I. think this theme is downloading one or more of its fonts or images from an external website. When I am loading my website, the statusbar of Firefox says it is trying to connect to Google or something like that. I believe my website connects to a remote server when loading the site for the first time. After the first page load, the speed goes normal and the pages are loaded in less than a second, but the first page load takes between 3 to 10 seconds. Even 20 seconds in a few cases! Does Travelify theme download anything from remote websites? How can I deactivate those remote pictures or fonts?

Google Maps not displaying after Travelify update.

Hi I recently updated the Travelify Theme for my website https://walkingdurrow.noalphabet.com . Prior to the update I was using WP-GPX-Maps plugin to display route maps, but since the update the maps will not display . I also tried the Google-Maps-GPX-Viewer with the same result. has anyone any ideas as to what may be wrong ? I also updated WP-GPX-Maps to run with WordPress 4.0 but same result.
