speedycache causing new post/page content to not show when signed out.

Never had this prob before, but when adding new content to a colleague’s website twenty Twenty one…wouldn’t show when signed out (only when signed in). Eventually found I had to click empty/clear speedycache for this page to get it to show on all browsers when signed out. Painful and wasn’t needed a few months back.

WordPress 6.4.2

I created this site before I was fully comfortable with the block editor. I just updated WP to 6.4.2, as I have done on a few other sites without problems, and suddenly appeared the White Screen of Death (WSoD). I had just updated plug-ins, and tested the site after doing so before updating WordPress. When I attempted to edit a page, WSoD appeared—I tried a few, and I think also a post, same result.
It appears that this theme has been left behind by 6.4.2; is that right? Will it be updated, or is there another suggestion that will appear similar without a lot of editing? I saw a suggestion of twenty-twenty, but being of similar age, I wonder if I would have the same issue if I updated WordPress (and it appears to be less easily customizable, though with more menu locations). I have restored a back-up of the site using 6.3.2, and editing works fine, so I am not so much trouble-shooting now as thinking ahead as to what will work with future updates of WordPress, etc.

Position of Buttons varies with WP-Themes

First of all: the problem I describe applies only to the shortcode version of your code. Inserting shortcodes in posts under WordPress theme Twenty Twenty-Two works fine, take the buttons to the lower right corner perfectly.

Same thing under Twenty Twenty: the buttons show centered on the lower edge of the screen (on Firefox, Chrome, Opera under Windows 10) and float in the lower left corner on Firefox & Chrome under Adroid on smartphones.

As I said, this happens only with shortcode buttons. If I use buttons on all webpages, they always show correctly in the lower right corner.

(I’m sorry not to be able to send you a link with the problem. I had to find a solution fast. So I skipped the button by display: none on all webpages I didn’t like the buttons to show up (dynamic CSS). This is a fast but forced solution, that I do not like. So maybe you can find the cause for the display problem and solve it. The shortcode option is a real USP, comparing your plugin to others.)

Footer is not shown on woocommerce pages while using Twenty Twenty theme.

Using latest woocommerce 7.0.1, latest wordpress 6.1 and latest theme version 2.1.

Is there a way to resolve this? Found old support tickets which weren’t helpful. Tried Storefront theme, but then the website becomes completely broken.

Tried downgrading Woocommerce and WordPress to 2020 versions to no avail.

No space under featured image

How can I add space between the bottom of the featured image and the top of the body text? There is no space on pages or blog posts (the only way I’ve been able to work around it is adding a spacer block at the top of posts or pages). Full width for cover block workaround for no title template

I noticed that if with Twenty Twenty I use the no title template and want to start the page with a cover block I cannot set it to full width.

The workaround: Add a standard image block, set it to full width and then change it to cover.

Maybe this is something that could be included in bug fixes in the future?

Elementor Not Loading in Twenty Twenty

For some reason Elementor will only work in Safe Mode and I’ve narrowed it down to the theme. It may also be the theme with ACF because Elementor works with I deactivate ACF and when I install a different theme.

Anyone else experience this issue an/or have a fix?

I’d like to include a logo to the left of the site title and tagline, as I use a specific font as branding for the site and I’d rather not use a single image for better scaling.

Currently it seems the behaviour with the Twenty-Twenty theme and Twentig is that it’s either the logo or the site title, not both.

Is it possible to have both with custom css? Apologies if this is a better question for the twenty-twenty theme support forum.
