Usando il tema “Twenty …”, da neofita, nel mio computer guardando le visualizzazioni in anteprima per pc, tablet o mobile vedo l’impaginazione perfetta, mentre se guardo nel mio (vecchio) iphone o nel nuovo Android phone di mio figlio vedo tutte le finestre ed i pulsanti sfalsate ed i testi illeggibili (con a capi sillabati ad una parola per riga).
Ho da poco provato a cambiare l’home page usando dei predefiniti (dello stesso tema) diversi, ma poi nei dispositivi mobili il risultato è addirittura peggiorato.
Vorrei mantenere lo stesso tema, ma il risultato nei mobili è orrendo, come posso risolvere?

]]>The hosting provider’s support claims that “the default themes come bundled with WordPress and we can’t change them”. I’m not an expert on Softaculous, but I’m willing to bet there’s a way they can configure it to specify which theme is suggested to the user as the default. I’m not saying Twenty Twenty-Two shouldn’t be installed with WordPress (though whether to do so is arguable at present). I just want the hosting provider to select a different default — say, Twenty Twenty-One.
Two questions:
- Do the support folks know what they’re talking about? Isn’t it possible to configure a different theme as the default active theme when they install WordPress?
- Do y’all agree it’s a bad idea to expose the typical site admin to 2022 just yet?
I also checked by disabling all plugins and only enabling this plugin. Same.
With other themes, this isn’t happening.
All themes und plugins are updated.
Maybe some issue with the new “Widgets” area, introduced in WP 5.8.
]]>Our site header image is not showing all the time. Sometimes it disappears entirely.
We have no idea what is causing this.
We have tried changing the image. The same happens after a while.
We have cleared caches. Made no difference.
We have tried different browsers, the result is the same.
We have made no new changes to the site, other than add text to an existing page.
We have not added or updated any plugins since before the problem started.
The only change is the WordPress version automatically updated a couple of days ago.
We are using updated WordPress 5.5.3, with Twenty Seventeen 2.4.
Can anyone advise please because not having a proper working site is not good for us and our work?

As I said above, all of the page content is just in one thin, centered column (excluding the header and footer).
I’ve tried changing the theme (Storefront, Twenty sixteen, and currently Twenty Twenty), but ever since I started working on the appearance, the site has been this way and I haven’t been able to fix it.
When I use a page builder (elementor) the customization is still limited to that one thin, centered column.
In other words, I do not have access to the left and right parts of pages, I can’t make fullwidth blocks, or put content to the far left or the far right.
]]>i am looking for a solution for an infinite scroll homepage with a series of post (or pages, is the same for me).
Instead of getting to the bottom of the page (with 5 posts showing) and clicking on older posts i would like to upload another set.
The question is: is it possibile to do so with build in features or code only on the twenty twenty theme or the only way is via a plug in?
If i try with Jetpack it does not show the body of the post, only the title.
