I want to enable the Bottom 1 Widget on all pages. I tried using Widget Options plugin but it doesn’t work. I think I just need to figure out how to add the single widget to all pages, either using functions.php or modifying the child page template.
The Bottom 1 Widget can be seen at the bottom of the home page of the website, immediately ABOVE the footer which says “? 2020 Oakridge / Westfir Chamber of Commerce. All rights reserved.” The section in question shows the phone number and some navigational links with a background image. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
]]>I apologize in advance for knowing very little about WordPress or design nomenclature. This is probably why I can’t find an asnwer to this question. WordPress keeps automatically adding navigation links beneath my main menu and I can’t find where in the settings to get rid of them. See the attached image for an example of what I am talking about. How can I remove/hide these redundant links? I am using the U-Design theme.

]]>Everything looks good across all the Android browsers I’ve tested. However, Safari and Chrome for iOS seem to respond differently to it by the hour. Yesterday, I installed the Average Mobile Detect plugin, which seemed to fix that. But, within a few hours, iPhones 5 and 6 were encountering both new glitches and the same old glitches I thought had been fixed, annoyances such as double menus and elements scattered all over the place.

Have you had luck with particular solutions for iOS responsiveness I may not have yet tried?
]]>However I had to reinstall the DB and theme and now its back. I think something needed to be edited in a php file, but I have forgotten where the info came from.
In searching I’ve found different links that says how, but one of the php files are present in the U-design theme.
Thanks in advance.

]]>I’m brand new to this forum, so please forgive me if I’m going about this all wrong!
I have a website that I have built using the ‘U-Design’ theme and I currently using WordPress 3.8.5 to run this website. Very old version I know!
Here is my website: https://www.visual8.co.uk
Each time I log in to the back-end of my website I am being asked to update the WordPress version to 4.1.1. However, I have heard some horror stories about updating the WordPress version, so I am not sure of the best way to go about doing this.
Have any of you guys with the U-Design Theme successfully updated your WordPress version 4.1.1? If so, I’d appreciate it if you could let me know please and whether you had any difficulties or problems doing it – at the very least it will reassure me that I am doing the right thing!
Look forward to hearing from you. And thank you in advance.
Matt
