Hi, I have just installed a premium version. I turned on “Allow Registration Of U2F Devices” and “Allow Yubikey Registration For One Time Passwords” but on my profile page I cannot add a new key. The “Register a New U2F Security Key” is disabled.

This plugin is great for increasing login security by enabling Yubikey 2-Factor Authentication (FIDO U2F), or Time-based One Time Passwords (TOTP). It’s very impressive; as if the WordPress devs themselves integrated it. It even lets you create application-specific passwords (so you can log in with a password on the WordPress app).

Since today i receive the message that after February 2022 U2F API logins will not be supported anymore.

Installed this plugin to meet our PCI Compliance needs and have not yet been disappointed. Features and options are great, would recommend to anyone especially the one-touch auth and not to mention the user-enrollment system.

Very happy to see folks working on getting 2FA and U2F worked into the WordPress core! I finally got SSL set up on my multi-site install this year, and have been wanting to get this additional layer of security integrated. I ran into a couple of minor issues, which are already listed at GitHub (UX of enabling Google Authenticator/TOTP was a bit confusing, and the fact that a FIDO U2F key has to be associated with *every* site of a multi-site install independently to work on all of them), but I’m sure these issues will be worked out in time. Keep up the good work!

I installed the plugin and set up everything. I chose “FIDO Universal 2nd Factor (U2F)” as default option and registered my YUBICO Key successfully.

However when I try to login. WordPress asks for my Key but when I touch it it does not log me in. Instead the following output is visible in the Console:

WP 4.8
Two-Factor Version 0.1-dev-20170603
Chrome Version 59.0.3071.115

I also use one-time password with Google Authenticator and these work just fine.

A great plugin, simple to use with plenty of options. I love the ability to introduce U2F as a secondary authentication type. To be frank this should be part of WP Core.
