how does the unique visitor count work in WP Statistics? If I manually add up my daily visitors in the past 7 days, I get the result of 78. the weekly stats show 88. I would understand, if this would be the other way around, as you might expect the same user visiting the site multiple times in a week, but how could the weekly result be higher?

I have SSL enabled and no statistics tool is counting unique visitors anymore. There was no big help before. So, since I started with your statistics plugin. Is there a setting I should try or something I did wrong?

It’s not. I have done troubleshooting and asked plugin developers for help. The problem persists.
The problem is:
Since SSL via Let’s Encrypt is activated, no plugin is able to count unique visitors properly. I have disabled every plugin at once. No change. Of course, there cannot be change because of the deactivated plugins. But I tried external tools like google analytics, google search console. There aren’t counting, too. And I know for sure, there are a lot more unique visitors that should be there, but aren’t.
The numbers dropped from something between 300-500 unique visitors per day below 10, maximum was 1. Only things counted are me and bots.

]]>Impressions are, as I understand it, tied to page views. Every time a page is refreshed by the user, or a new page is clicked on by a user, this counts as an impression.
Is there a way of measuring unique visitors to the site on a daily basis, and if so, how?
I would like to be able to divide impressions/day by unique visitors/day to ascertain average impressions served per visitor per day.
Not tech-savvy, so any help appreciated. Thanks!
