Impressions are, as I understand it, tied to page views. Every time a page is refreshed by the user, or a new page is clicked on by a user, this counts as an impression.
Is there a way of measuring unique visitors to the site on a daily basis, and if so, how?
I would like to be able to divide impressions/day by unique visitors/day to ascertain average impressions served per visitor per day.
Not tech-savvy, so any help appreciated. Thanks!

]]>The Pageviews in the plugin are going up about 10 every second. I know this because when I refresh the buttons, it’s starts off at zero and increases by about 10 or so every second. I went and looked at the “Detailed Stats,” and found pages that have no Pageviews or very few Pageviews in Google Analytics, are all of a sudden ranking in this plugin… this includes our RSS feed page…? The second a unique visit happens (which is about 1 per second and is not true for our blog), it shows 10 Pageviews. The same is with the Unique Visits; we NEVER get that kind of traffic.
When I refreshed the stats in the plugin I had 0 Pageviews. Now I have over 9,600 Pageviews with 85 unique visitors about two hours later.
Don’t get me wrong, I would love to have that number of unique visitors, but it’s not possible right now, and doesn’t match our Google Analytics account. These numbers are being made up and increasing by 10’s every second as I type. Bots usually run our site Tuesdays (today), but this has been happening steadily the last few days as well. What’s the issue here?
Thanks for any help you can offer!

]]>1) Tracking of Pageviews trailed off to almost zero, and visits also took a nosedive. Turning Javascript option Off helped it seems, but both are still below “normal” levels of reporting.
2) If I pull up any of the reports pages, there is a noticeable lag – this has been the case for several versions, however the externally facing website itself ws never impacted before. Now when I pull up the report pages, the entire site externally lags, and will not render until the report page has finished rendering.
So backing off to previous version for now…
