I just wanted to ask if this plugin is still in active development as it was last updated 4 month ago and is tested up to WordPress version 6.4 but not 6.5?
Best regards,
Robert
I’m using the free version of this plugin, and was wondering if there is a way for someone to unlike a reaction (i.e. in the same way it works on Facebook), maybe because they clicked a reaction by mistake or changed their mind.
]]>I am (for now) using free version of the plugin. Should displaying unlikes/dislikes be available by default in this version? I am seeing thumbs up everywhere, but no idea how to display dislike button/counter next to it.
Please advise,
Tom
]]>I am a little old, so please have patience with my questions below. Thank you.
Question #1: Is it supposed to show two icons side-by-side? That is, a thumbs up, and a thumbs down? I am only seeing the thumbs up icon underneath each of my blog posts.
Question #2: Do I only need to use the options “Select Button Icon (Like)” and “Select Button Icon (Unlike)” if I want to use my own images, instead of the default built-in images?
Question #3: Can custom images be PNGs, or do they have to be SVGs?
Question #4: I don’t use BuddyPress, bbPress or WooCommerce, so should I disable those options on the “Posts” and “Comments” tabs?
On both the “Posts” tab and the “Comments” tab, my settings are as follows:
Automatic Display: enabled
Auto Display Position: Bottom of Content
Only Registered Users: disabled
Logging Method: Logged by Username
Show Liked Users Box: enabled
Question #5: Is there something wrong with the above settings, and is that why I do not see the unlike button next to the like button?
Question #6: Does “Auto Display Filter” mean that if I enable any of the listed options, the like button will NOT appear in those areas?
Question #7: On the “General” tab, what does the “Users Login Type” mean, and what is the difference between the two?
Question #8: Does this plugin only work with registered logged in users, or do unregistered guest visitors see the buttons as well?
Thank you so much for your help!
]]>Thanks,
Itamar
I’ve installed and activated the plugin and configured the settings. Despite everything being set correctly, I coulnd’t get it to automatically show below the post content. I ended up adding it manually using your PHP function in my child theme and this now shows the LIKE button however, I cannot get the UNLIKE button to show.
Is there anything I need to do to show the unlike button next to the like button?
What are the conditions for the unlike button to show?
Thanks for any help in advance.
