Delete users automatically Not working

I am using the free version of email verification for woocommerce. I have the feature labeled “Delete users automatically” checked and the frequency set to daily. But it does not work. My unverified users still exist. Even the instant tool labeled “Delete unverified users from the database” does not work.

Failures From Unverified Address but Address Is Verified

I am getting the following error message:

“We’ve noticed that emails are being sent from the following unverified email addresses:

[email protected]

Please verify these email addresses with Amazon, or use an email address that has already been verified.”

Thing is, I just checked in my AWS SES and that address is verified and so is the entire domain. When I send a test from that address via AWS SES it comes through without issue.

I am intending to use the Newsletter plugin to send out subscription confirmations and the newsletters themselves using that [email protected] address. Right now, people who are subscribing via the online form are not receiving their confirmation emails.

I had 35 NEW SEARCH CONSOLE OWNERS ADDED. I need to get these hackers removed. I don’t know how to do it and I don’t know who to go to help me remove the accounts. They cannot be unverified since they some file out there. I need to get all of them deleted and cannot find the help other than steps I don’t know how to execute myself.
I was told this can be helped by my hosting company.

Email attacks-spam through wordpress email.

Hi I have two wordpress sites and both get a fair share of spam attempts and logins from around the world. (Why are people so destructful?) Anyway I have wordfence installed and of course it updates using the wordpress email wordpress@mysitedotcom It’s this email they are using to try to gain entry to my site, I know because within wordfence emails it says user such and such ip address area has been locked out from login in with unverified login details. I’ve set wordfence to one attempt then ban for 60 days (the highest setting). Fair enough it’s doing its job, thanks makers of wordfence. But is their a way of getiing rid of the standard wordpress email that will stop these attempts in the first place please anyone. As todays spam count for one site stands at 194. I asked my host company and they said it must be a plugin I’m using. These site are directories so I need to have anyone can register on. (Though right now I’ve turned it off yet still this is happening. Obviously my concern is one might succeed. Thanks.
p.s. only been a wordpress user for the past three months so might be missing something straight forward, I apologise now for my ignorance if that’s the case.

Users registered as Unverified?

Hello,

All the users who login, are kept under the unverified category. Even after a logged in user proceeds with a checkout, he/she is still unverified. Registering them as WooCommerce Customer is a premium plugin feature is it? I looked at the Free Vs Premium feature list, this particular point wasn’t clear.

I have a slight issue I tested this plugin and didn’t verify the email, now when I look into the users section of the admin panel I have customers which the system says I should have but clearly don’t add up. How do I remove these customers which haven’t verified their account ?

Making New Users Administrators??

When I go to approve a new user I go to Unverified Users. I check the box, then select approve. It then automatically gives them Administrator access, then I need to go into Users and edit it back to Subscriber.

I have probably missed setting something up. Anyone know how to approve users on the “Unverified Users” page and have them be ‘subscribers’? without having to go back to the users section and edit it??

Username updated to unverified_* when click activation link

I installed wordpress 3.5.1 in my local linux system and using xampp. I used buddy press plugin for signup. I am having following problem ,

1. New User Register

a) When i register as a new user, am getting a activation link mail, after clicking activation link the username what i entered in signup was updated to “unverified_*”.

b) Unverified user window shows to verify the users. when i click verify users the username is updated to blank in user window.

please tell me ,how to solve the above problem
