It’s not allowing me to update my pages, add images, etc.

can’t update pages after 5.4 installed

April 1 issue of Monthly Planet uploaded to site. Used editor to insert it where March issue now appears. Used preview and saw the April issue. Pressed “update”. Got “update successful” message. But the website has not updated.
5.4 also changed the look and feel of the editor in a way that I don’t want to deal with.
Is there any way I can go back to prior WP version? I don’t want much but a site that works . . .
And while I’m ranting I only upgraded because I hoped that would help me update refresh rate of simple calendar that just generates a bunch of errors that are greek to me when I try.
Sorry, I struggle with this, but I’m not a programmer.

Date updates for pages

Hi Guys,

I would like to have an update feature for my pages. So everytime I update a page Google should see the actual date for the update (similiar how we can see that on our blog pages).

This update SEO feature seems not to be integrated in the Hueman theme.

Please help or advise how to solve this issue.

Update Page or Publish new Page takes me to the list of posts

This is really frustrating. I came into work this morning and wanted to make a simple change on a page, but when I hit “update” it just takes me to my list of posts. Keep in mind, this was a page I was working on, not a post.

So I created a new page to put the same info on, and when I hit publish, it takes me to the list of posts.

I worked on the same page yesterday evening, I just added a paragraph of text and updated, and it worked fine. Today I can’t seem to update any pages.

Cant view new publised pages

Greetings all,

So for some odd reason, when i create a new page and ‘hit’ publish, it brings me to a blank page.

However, when i click back and check the pages, that new page appears in the list.

I can navigate through all the admin controls, but when I hit ‘update’ or ‘publish’, I get stuck on a blank white screen.

Anyone else have this problem before? Any solutions?

How to start over with no new content

I am taking an online class. I was able to install and set up wordpress along with plug-ins, etc. I completed the first tutorial successfully.

My next tutorial is instructing how to use Dreamweaver with WP and of course has all new course files. I uploaded all the new course files, but all of my previous pages, posts, etc are still showing. I deleted those, but I want to change the Header text. (I’m doing this live as my office will not let me download WAMP). It is hidden behind my actual live non-WP site.

When I go to the Admin Custom Header page, I no longer get the option to turn on or off the Header Text. Is there somewhere that I can turn this back on (because the header text is still showing, but I want to change it.

Or can someone tell me where I change the text above the header image?

Recent changes made that may have caused issue?:

FS Secure Contact Form (updated)
WP Optimize (installed and deleted some stored data)
Estro Slider (installed and using on homepage)
Suffusion Theme (minify CSS turned on and Auto-generate the CSS and print it in the HTML source turned on)

I deactivated all the plug ins above with no luck

My blog is https://goalachieving.wordpress.com/ I am starting to manage my blog myself and want to update the Welcome page and the About page and their links. The Welcome appears as a sidebar. I go to pages, edit it and change links and preview, which looks OK. However when I update, my edited version appears like a comment in the main section and nothing happens to the sidebar. I need to edit all my pages and am obviously missing something. Please help!

I have a number of pages that were created a couple weeks ago and now when I go in to update or change them the page opens blank with no option for editing.
