I have spent three days trying to get this to work. It fails. Says there is a critical error on my website, but there’s not. I received one email with the following info

Uploads bigger than 2MB fail

Hi there,
I tried to use your fine pluign, but am not able to submit files bigger than 2MB, even before submitting the email. As long as I drop a file (or select it from my computer’s harddrive) less than 2MB, everything seems to work, but when this limit is exceeded, the file seems to upload, a few seconds after the progress bar reaches 100%, I get the message ‘the upload failed for some reason’. This happens even without limiting file size or count. I allow to upload ZIP, JPG, PDF, DOC, DOCX, but it’s the same problem with any type.

My code is as simple as that:

Anschreiben, Lebenslauf, Zertifikate, Zeugnisse etc.
[mfile Dateien filetypes:zip|jpg|pdf|doc|docx]

Could there be some limitation on the server, of which I don’t know?

I downloaded version 2.6.2 of this plug in because the customer HTML I had on the page above that allowed all 8 music samples to be played one after the other or the listener to go back or skip a selection got blown away with the new upgrade of WP.

I had trouble with the file security glitch and got my hosting service to add the temp fix to the wp-config.php file and was able to get past the error message. I expected the file to populate the required “full file path of the .mp3 and .oog files I uploaded when I clicked on “Insert Into Post” but the upload screen goes away and the post does not have the file path inserted as expected.

I have looked at the forum and found a lot of stuff about issues about Chrome but I am using Safari. I have tried to use the plugging uploader and the browser uploader with the same results. And I am not sure if any of the posts refer to the same WP version.

contact form 7 attachment not uploading from mobile data

I am using contact form 7 and having issues while uploading attachments from GPRS (Mobile data). However there is no issue in uploading attachments from broadband internet. When i upload any attachment via mobile data the processing symbol right after the submit button keeps on revolving, as it is uploading image, but in fact it could not upload an attachment of less than 500KB after 10 minutes of loading.

Can someone please help me out? is it possible to upload attachment in contact form 7 via mobile data and how?

During backup a number of uploads fail:

Error uploading file xxxx to Dropbox: unexpected parameter ‘overwrite’

after 10 fails backup stops.

This started after last update of WP to 4.4

Hi all,

I’ve been trying to get through the installation process for hours now and am getting kinda frustrated, since I keep getting the same error over & over again, as soon as I press the install button:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /public/sites/www.zondagmanagement.nl/wp-admin/includes/bookmark.php on line 290

I think the error occurs due to a problem uploading the two files mentioned in the topic title. I’ve uploaded and deleted the whole wordpress folder content a few times now, but every single time Filezilla keeps telling me, that both files already exist and if I want to override them… However, if I choose that option (or any other option for that matter – and yes I’ve tried them all!) the transfer failes.

I also tried adding the files manually, i.e. once by adding/overriding (got the same failure message) and once by deleting the file from the site folder and adding it manually.

All to no avail; same error!

Can someone please help me? I have another website and didn’t have these problems, I do think I installed WP 3.9.1 then though, is there a possibility that might be an issue..??

Your help will be very very VERY much appreciated! I need to get the website online asap and am nearly losing my wits…

Still can't add images

I have previously tried to log the errors I’m getting and have simply been told that it must be another plugin so here are my two errors.

I get either:

When I do a clean install of v2.0.40 which is the last version I’ve managed to keep stable on another site.

I upgraded to 2.0.66.16 and simply get an HTTP error.

I have no other plugins installed so it can not be a plugin error, in fact its a virgin new wordpress site.

Please don’t simply close this down as has been done in the past. I really want to use this plugin and will be happy to pay for it, if and when it works.

Can't upload media since upgrading to version 3.8

When I try to add new media in 3.8 if I use the browsers built in uploader I get the following: https://leanmansystem.com/wp-admin/media-new.php – ‘Page requested could not be found’. If I switch to the multifile uploader I get ‘http error’. This has only happened since upgrading to version 3.8. Do I need to change a setting somewhere, and if so, how do I do this? thanks in advance. Gary

I’ve got at least 8 hours in this without success. In trying to upload a photo I get an error: “Error saving media attachment.”

My php.ini file reads:

upload_max_filesize = 10M
post_max_size = 10M
max_execution_time = 30
memory_limit = 64M
register_globals = Off
magic_quotes_gpc = Off
safe_mode = off

My htaccess file contains:
