Best,

All my reviews published have upper case letters, even though the comment was written in lower case. Anyone having a similar issue and can help?
Thanks!

]]>As the additional setting “on_submit: ” is deprecated I’m trying to use DOM events to accomplish this.
I have been trying adding this js:
document.addEventListener( ‘wpcf7submit’, function( event ) {
$(‘input[type=text]’).val(function(){return this.value.toUpperCase();})
}
But unfortunately JS/PHP are not my specialty. And I have found no evidence of anyone tackling the uppercase problem yet.
Could somebody help me?
Thank you so much

]]>I ask for your kind help, or signpost to an appropriate thread on this matter. I have purchased a wordpress template from ‘templatemonster.com’. I am admittedly rather new to this software and am currently trying to familiarise myself with the WP dashboard to customise my site. The problem I am up against, which seems to be a remarkably simple and obvious issue to resolve is modifying text ie size/ font & case.
Is it the case with WP generally that you have to change this in the CSS/ Style sheet code and not through a simplified dashboard function- where it seems everything else can be customised?
I was on a live chat with templatemonster.com for 90 minutes who were giving me convoluted instructions on how to modify text (or maybe I just dont get code yet). I asked them to perform the instructions they were giving me to see if this modified my main menu text but I could see no difference after refreshing my site inspite of them telling me they could see the change- in this case from size 18px to 10px. I want to make sure also there is no issue with the template I purchased in terms of integrating with Wordress
Currently the text on my site is all in upper case and a font size that is too large- it seems that if case can only be changed on the CSS stylesheet, it can only be upper or lower?
Any enlightenment would be truly appreciated, I thought WP was designed for the technophobe newbies like me! Maybe I’m not even at that level!
Many thanks for anyones attention
Ollie
My blog is https://konsoulito.gr/ and as you can see, all the words have upper and lower characters, because I made the change into style.css (all uppercase into upperlowercase). Well, all words except those into 2nd menu which have only upper characters.
What change is needed to turn words of 2nd menu in upper and lower characters?
Thanks in advance!
]]>I eventually managed to get the blog moved from /LochNessTony to /lochnesstony but the trouble is that when I filled in the section to promote it to websites I gave the old address so my blog is not being seen by search engines.
However, the biggest problem is the subscribers who are still being given www.loch-ness.com/LochNessTony as the link instead of all lower case so all they get is a 404 page not found error.
I’ve tried creating a LocNessTony directory and putting a redirect in it but it won’t allow a secend directory with the same combination of letters.
Does any one have fix or am I going to have to scrap the entire blog and start again with a new name and directory?
