Just recently started using this plugin for a client’s website, and I love it, it’s incredible and so easy to work with! My only question is in regards to including the logo’s URL: With one logo, we didn’t include the “https://” that the website uses, and the result when clicked, is loading “www.ourdomain.com/www.logodomain.com”.

Is this something potentially on our end that we need to change, to make sure the URL’s load the sponsor logo website? Many users I’ve noticed don’t add the “https://” for a website, so for ease of use they’ll only start it out with the “www.”.

can't change site URL

Under the settings, WP siteURL is greyed out. To go around that, I have tried the three methods (functions.php, wp-config.php, and phpAdmin) described in the article below multiple times (minus the relocate method) to change the WP siteURL. None of these methods have worked for me. I have also reinstalled WP a couple times.

Any help with idea as to why the change won’t take? I don’t think its my theme Bouquet as I have stripped it of theme to test. Might it be something quirky about Synology? How do I go about finding out what the issue is and resolving it?

hi, i hope someone can help me with this.

on my website, https://travelmolecule.com/photos/ , there is a dropdown menu of various continents, all these subpages under ‘PHOTOS’ parent page are labeled in CAPITAL LETTERS. These pages are created as static pages (which i believe is not the good way to go about doing things, i think)

however, you will also noticed i have 2 pages known as “North America” and “South America” , not in CAPS. these pages are created when i labeled each photo album under “North America” and “South America” categories.

the thing is, that’s my ultimate goal, meaning, selected albums will go into selected pages, based on where the country is located (aka under which continent). however, what i dont like abt the “North America” and “South America” pages right now is their URL address.

they are known as

https://travelmolecule.com/gallerycat/south-america/

i want them to be known as

needing shorter slugs or menu options

We’ve been moving our site into wordpress. Need to use parent and child pages three to four levels deep for our navigation system, so that the menus’ for our books display properly. However, extremely annoyed to see that word press includes the slugs for every parent page in the file name, making for extremely long URL addresses. Searched the codex and looked for plugins, but can’t seem to find how to address this issue. Does anyone know of a plugin or a way to edit the .HTA access file so that we can remove/altar this to customize slugs?

url address change of existing pages

I was thinking of changing the address of certain pages on my website. So if the name of the page is Contact us, then the address will be www.cookiedoughtreats.com/contact_us
When I do this, should i copy and paste everything into a new page or can I change the address of the existing pages?

When I click on the Facebook button, the window that opens only shows the URL address, but it is intermittent and doesn’t always occur on every post. There is no content, no image and no story title – just the URL – but not necessarily for every story…very odd.

URL address not working

when I type in the address www.myaddress.co.uk it returns with 404 Not Found error and I notice that the address shown is www.myaddress.co.uk/news

no matter how carefully I type, it still returns with that address. I’ve even tried using https://

There is a news post but it is a Draft Post and when I publish it, it makes no difference.

I have recently added a couple of Plugins but even after deactivating them it made no difference.

I hadn’t noticed how long it’s been like that because I mostly log in to the Admin panel first and while I’m logged in, it works fine.

I use a static page but I checked that and it is correct under Settings, Reading.

I’m lost on this as I must have done something wrong because it was ok.

Images disappear when WordPress address and site address are different

My wordpress runs off a sub-directory. Today I changed my site address to the main .com and all of my pictures disappeared! The images are still in the correct folder on the server and the links are still correct. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. When you changed the site address back to the sub-directory, everything is still there and looks great!
