Would it be possible to have the subscription box checked by default at checkout (mailchimp has this feature and Im migrating away from them to EmailOctopus), and not collapsed by default. I want it to be easy for customers to subscribe and the form is too hidden in the current format. Thanks!

They could have done better by adding a layout for keyword search on the site, as well as for tags and categories! When you add tags to an article, they appear in a disorganized manner at the bottom of the page, and when you click on them, you’re taken to a search result page with no proper layout! It frustrates me! Why didn’t they think of fixing this?

One of the most notable points besides this plugin is the good communication from the company’s engineering team. They are simply helpful and wonderful in their excellence in communicating and responding to everything they can.
This plugin works very well and goes beyond what we imagine to get for a good SEO of a website.

After so many years, they don’t improve or fix the issues, they even introduce new issues. They even make you to do additional clicks and steps for doing things you did in one click on the first Guternberg version.

They didn’t make any usability improvements in all these years, speaking about usability, it is even worse now than at the beginning.

It’s a mess – horrible to do even the simplest job

The site editor is a real mess: it’s unclear what you have to edit and where to make the simplest change stick. When using the classic editor for even the simplest job, white spaces appear where you don’t want them. Font sizes disappear on the front end, and it’s a battle to discover where the setting is. Additional CSS only works occasionally to tweak the design – presumably overriden by the over-controlling CSS of the theme. To achieve both a desktop menu and a responsive menu, I have to edit both the “navigation” function in the site editor and the “menus” function under appearance (the latter to edit the menu created by the responsive menues plugin). And the patterns are also a mess- by default my images inserted using the block editor werere made a horrible orange monocolour – you have to fiddle with the settings to change that – why?

The end result looks OK but what a muddle it is to use it.

For heavens sake, Keep It Simple!

This plugin is really a great collection of features and a vital extension to WordPress core. I initially came across it while looking for a search box block with an overlay. Now I discover more and more good blocks and features and I already activated anything under ?Site Addons“ which offers things like:

Website page loader
Page scroll indicator (very neat!)

Using this plugin has eleminated several single plugins i used before. Two more tips are: “content tooltips” (very useful to explain terms in the content e.g.) or “block visibilty” which offers show or hide the editor blocks per device.

The plugin / blocks are very well made and of great design quality and usability. Also the support is very friendly and helpful.

This plugin has been great! I usually get distracted when having to do a lot of apps to keep track of everything that I have to do (Google Docs, Spreadsheets, ClickUp, Trello, etc.)

Now I don’t have to jump around between a lot of different software and be more efficient.

As seen in the URL I attached. The AI Engine popup is covered by the elements of the page on which it appears.
It happens to me with the latest version of the plugin (wordpress 6.4.2) and on another website that I have for testing with version ai-engine-2.1.9 and wordpress 5.9. In both cases, one element they have in common is that they use the DIVI theme.

One of the best modern themes out there, and I’ve played with a lot of them. Still has a niggling Google Fonts bug (downloads the roman, but not bolds and italics are left to the browser to do) which is common to many themes. However, in terms of usability and letting non-technical people do stuff—and for the result to still look really good—Neve rates as the best I’ve tried in a long time.
