Anonymous event submissions

My event submission form is set to allow anonymous event submissions. However, I am still seeing the frontend page with an Unauthorized Access notice for non-logged in users.

I have followed all the advice in the docs, created a new subscriber-level user and set user capabilities to allow subscribers to edit events.

Any ideas so I can get this working please?

Shortcode for Edit Events?

Hello,
I couldn’t find an answer to this in the documentation or by searching the forums. I know I can show the list of the user’s events that they can edit by setting a page for it in settings — but it would be nice if there was a shortcode to display the list of user’s submitted events. I’d like to be able to display it via shortcode so I can place it in a tab, but I cannot see any way to do this?

Is there such a shortcode or any plans for one?

Hi There,

I’m wondering if in stead of current events, having saved calendars that are available upon a users start date? Basically, if one has a lesson program, and wants to deliver 12 weeks of lessons, that user would get those weekly/daily events based on their registration.

Is this possible?

Hi Team,

Is it possible to have training calendar for a fitness site? One where lessons or workouts can be seen and users can mark complete, or favorite workouts?

In addition, my program has 12 week training modules. When one starts the program, the trainer starts. Is there anyway one could pick between the training module and the module could propagate on the calendar?

[Multisite] no anonymous user entries possible

We run a multisite with user submitted events enabled. This works for the mainsite. Recently we enabled it for the subsites in the network as well, however on opening the event submission form the page states that the visitor has insufficient privileges. How to solve? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for taking the time to read this request. I am looking for a wordpress plugin that will enable people to add their own events to my site – with my approval of course. I need it to be able to search by location also. Does anyone have any good ideas or experience.

I love your plugin so far! I was wondering can you make it so when users sign up to your site, can they be automatically assigned the role of subscriber, so you don’t have to go through and manually add each one?

Also as a side question, can you make it so that it shows all the users who signed up for a particular event? So that everyone can see who is attending the event?

Activity Events that users can post themselves?

Hey guys,

As part of a student project we’re making a website and part of it requires users to create they’re own events. The user needs a certain amount of attendees before the event can go ahead. We would like the events to countdown to a time that the users have to comfirm they are going, something like how ebay lists items. Instead ours will list events.

Does anyone know what plugin or plugins we could use in order to create this user events list?

Would really appreciate any help given!
