I understand that we can keep user IDs the same, from exporting to importing, when using the pro version. Would we need the pro version on both the export site and the import site, or just the import site?

Issue with user import – Temp Salesforce ID

Hello,

We are trying to import all WP users into SF and establish a fieldmap between the WP user ID ?and the SF contact ID. ?

We performed 4 separate tests, importing a csv file of 21 user records via User Import Export. All were existing WP users, with a field change (the Registration Source field was given the Website Registrant value).

Whether or not the imported csv included a Salesforce ID, after import, ther WP user record shows a tmp ID instead of the SF ID in the import file.

The help forum for ObjectSync is saying that this means there was an error of some type, but there is no error message in either the site logs or the plugin mapping errors log. ?The mapping shows as successful.

The only way to override is manually editing the objectmap, i.e. deleting the tmp objectmap. If you delete the tmp objectmap a new objectmap will generally automatically appear correctly. However, we have 40k users to upload and fixing this manually isn’t a real option.

I have 2 pre-sales questions:

1. Is it possible to import “User” information using CSV files.

I have seen your reply regarding tickets, but in this case we just want to import user data such as their Name, Surname, User Name, Password (not important as this can be reset), and their status.

2. The users in the current system have 2 status (Free or Paid Members). Can this status be included in the import?

Unable to import csv with user role shop manager

Hello,

Am connected as a shop manager and i am trying to import a new user with role PRO.

But everytime am importing the new user csv, it says successfull but the new user has role subscriber instead of PRO.

On the other hand, when i am trying to update a user, it says successfull but nothing is updated.

Can you please assist.

Bulk user imports not generating notifications

I am trying to use the plugin “Import and export users and customers” to bulk import users into WordPress. When I use this plugin the notifications fail to send to the new users or they are sent the default WP email instead of the customised one from BNFW.

Are you aware of any alternatives to bulk-adding users that still trigger the BWFW notifications?

I did not test this plugin for every use case but it worked great for my company Sturm Media. I did see one review that stated it sent out emails even though that box was not checked, but I can’t confirm this because I used dummy email addresses. I just needed to get the users in the system for my client.

It worked great for that, easy and intuitive. I deducted one star because there is no preview or test mode, at least that I could see. Maybe the developer will correct me if I am mistaken and I will upgrade my review.

I would like to make one click demo data with my so that my client will get complete demo data like my site.

where I am creating theme with Ultimate Member plugin, so basically my theme like Member directory, so here I need to import dummy users along with my pages and posts. So is there an option to add dummy users data which already imported as demo-users.csv

so I need to use that csv into one click demo option, can any one guide me?
