User profile edit drop down not working/conflicting with Elementor Pro

On the Ultimate Member User Profile page, no user can edit the Profile Picture as it just links to the profile page (reloads the profile) instead of showing the dropdown to ‘upload a new picture’. This only seems to work when Elementor Pro is deactivated but that’s not an option. However interestingly the cover photo works absolutely fine. Any ideas of how to get around this or remove the profile link from the image even?

I’ve used ProfileGrid for a while now with no problems whatsoever. But now when users (new) register on my site and activate their accounts through email, they are unable to log in. The User Profile page only loads a blank page. Always.

Applies to all users except Admin (this is because, as the admin, I use the default wordpress login page rather than the profilegrid login page). If I (admin) logs in through profilegrid login page, the profile page loads blank as well.

Please this is important and prompt response will be very appreciated.

User Profile – Broken url when using multilanguage page

Hi,

I’m building multi language website and currently i’m facing an issue with User Profile page as the page does not load when i have other language selected rather english.

I believe this is related with the url path / slug of my duplicated “User Profile” page. Can you help understand what changes are required to do in order to successfully load the user profile page for any language?

Not sure if it is relevant, but i’m using Polylang to achieve the multi language website.

I am having an issue with my site, the profile page is not showing anything.

It has the default form and it is selected as UM user page in the settings. I tried several things, even deleting all UM pages and creating them again. Nothing seems to work.

outside access to www.domainname.com/user/[userid]/ seems to present a security hole. Is there some place to click a box that would restrict access to /user/[userid] to only that userid or admin people?

Php coding for dynamic template user profile page

Hi,

After opening a user profile from a member search, this user profile overwrites the user profile of the logged on user as all profiles need to be served from the same user page.

I now want to add some text to the user page when the shown profile is not the profile of te logged on user. So this text should only be shown when the shown profile is not equal to the profile of the logged on user. For this I want to use php coding.

Does anyone know which php coding to use??

User profile edits result in error page

I am trying to make some updates to user info such as their password, but every time I hit Update for the user account, I get an error. The page says “profile.php line 39” and then displays an array with all user info displayed. I’ve tried replacing the files profile.php and user-edit.php with fresh copies from a download of WP 4.1 but the error remains. There doesn’t seem to be a permissions issue with the WordPress core files either.

Any hints? I’m not quite sure what’s happening here.

I have a page on WordPress where registered users can add comments. I would like to do so that when you click on the nick’s comment appeared in some of his profile page. Eg. I registered myself a test user, thanks to sliding plug login / register after logging panel can go to:

I configured the page so that only sees the profile settings and notice that added by AWPCP. I have no idea on what subpage someone else can see eg. Data user test – his nickname, name, website and description about me.

? how to add the page to the user data appeared after clicking on the nick’s comment?

Another strange thing – I have 2 active users test. One comment nickname with a blue and when you click it goes to the main page and the other nickname is gray – not active. How does it perform?

Display hierarchical taxonomy just like categories?

Hello,

Has anyone manage to display hierarchical taxonomy on the User profile page just like Categories on Posts page?

I’m a bit stuck. I’ve got a hierarchical taxonomy, like categories, where you can have several level of nesting within them. The admin taxonomy page is displayed ok – where sub-categories/terms appear correctly under its parent category/term.

However, I don’t know how to display the taxonomy terms on the User profile page in the same way as Categories are displayed on Posts — where you can see the level structure within them and when you assign a child term for a post the parent will be assigned to the post too.

As far as I could track it down, the native WP uses ”meta_box_cb” argument when registering a post and for hierarchical taxonomies it’s assigned to ‘post_categories_meta_box’ function.

I’m not sure how can I hook this functionality to my User hierarchical taxonomy?

I’d would hugely appreciate any tips and advice.
