This is a great tool, especially with its integration into the Contact Form 7 plugin. However, there’s a minor bug when exporting non-Latin characters, such as Persian. It seems the encoding is set to Western by default. Switching to UTF-8 encoding should resolve the issue. Thanks!

We acquired the pro version for this website. Your documentation says that your plugin is multilingual, works with Divi and works with woocommerce. And my first results are completely the contrary.
Does this work with Divi base modules?
Does this really work with woocommerce? I need to show product attributes?
Does this work with foreign language accents?

UTF-8 Character Problem after Update to 1.5.1

Hi;

After update to the last version (1.5.1), all UTF-8 characters are replaced with non-senese symbols.

I tried these steps :

1) In CPanel>phpMyAdmin, changed “Collation” of database to utf8mb4

2) In wp-config.php file changed ‘DB_CHARSET’ to ‘utf8mb4’

3) Rollback to version 1.5.0

But none of them works.

I wrote a ticket to Support of WP Table Builder, but they didn’t answer.

I’ve many large tables which are useless now and takes a very long time to write contents again, very frusrating for a 5-stars plugin!

Any idea how to solve the problem?

Umlauts only as UTF-8 codes in pdf ?

Is there a way to output umlauts (? ü ? ) from german language correctly in the PDF? Currently its shown as UTF-8 codes, that is not readable.

It would be a shame if umlauts are not possible, until then everything works perfectly.

Hello, i have some problem with my WP all in one import plugin (or wordpress itself i’m not sure).

Everything was working fine for long time, since few days my import file link is showing some encoded character in this link :

XML Link is valid, proofen and works fine (look at the end pl¤cy=PLN)

This plugin generates text with special characters not as is, as utf-8, there are something that encode the special chars.

Also, the dashboard load is very long

I’ve been using this plugin since it was called Better WP Security. It seems with a recent update something has run amok. Here is the error message in WP Admin:

Cannot run Solid Security. Error encountered during setup. Please try deactivating and reactivating Solid Security. Contact support if the error persists.

The itsec_dashboard_lockouts table is not installed.
The itsec_vulnerabilities table is not installed.
The itsec_firewall_rules table is not installed.

Deactivating and reactivating the plugin did not help. Thanks!

Javascript error with UTF-8 (Arabic) search

The on-page search works perfectly on English pages on the sites I manage; however, on Arabic pages it fails with the following console error:

codepeople_shearch_in_place.min.js?ver=1.1.4:25 Uncaught DOMException: Failed to execute 'splitText' on 'Text': The offset 169 is larger than the Text node's length.

Generally speaking, it gives this error for words greater than 2 characters with varying offset values. Longer words will work if they only appear once on the page. For example:

This works: ?? ?? (two words of 2 characters)
But this does not: ??? (3 letters)
However, this does: ?????? (appears once)

How could I put UTF-8 encoding to the JSON feed? I’m Spanish and all the accents and accents don’t appear to me… I have to convert everything later. If I output it directly in UTF-8 it would save me time. Does anyone know how to do it?

I have these options in a checkbox custom field:
Berde,Korá,Blou
The one with the accent is shown on the front end as Kor??,
where the ? are in a grey diamond. According to Wikipedia: The replacement character ? (often displayed as a black rhombus with a white question mark) is a symbol found in the Unicode standard at code point U+FFFD in the Specials table. It is used to indicate problems when a system is unable to render a stream of data to correct symbols.

All the other UTF-8 characters in the page work, like èkstra, Koló and many others. They seem not to work in the WCK custom field checbox selection options…

Anyone can shine some light on this? Have you experienced it, can you reproduce it, or do you have a solution? thx.
