Hello,

will this guide work “https://wpadvancedads.com/manual/ads-by-url-parameters/” to serve based on UTM parameters in url? I need to show ads based on the traffic source which would be filtered via UTM parameters. Thank you for your help.

Missing UTM Parameters

Hello,

We are losing UTM parameters when people are clicking on our microsoft ads. This, oddly, isn’t happening with any other source.

Here is the initial url that they are going to (copied DIRECTLY from our final URL suffix in microsoft):

https://www.newtongrouptransfers.com/?utm_source=bing&utm_campaign_name={_campaign}&utm_campaign={CampaignID}&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term={Keyword}&WickedSource=Microsoft&WickedId={AdID}|{keyword:default}|{MatchType}&wcid={CampaignID}

Here is the problem; If you try going to that URL in a browser (I used incognito), this is what you actually land on:

https://newtongrouptransfers.com/?utm_campaign_name=%7B_campaign%7D&utm_term=%7BKeyword%7D&WickedSource=Microsoft&WickedId=%7BAdID%7D%7C%7Bkeyword%3Adefault%7D%7C%7BMatchType%7D&wcid=%7BCampaignID%7D

This can be duplicated by visiting the first url in an incognito browser.

We use WPForms and with Zapier send enquiry form details to our CRM (Dhruv). We tried to pull utm parameter data from Google Ads and Facebook Ads for each enquiry but could not. Is there someone who could help? Maybe @duracelltomi? Thanks, Dimitris

Adding UTM parameter and anchor link to the button link

In the pricing tables, I added an anchor link #phone_ordering_lead_form as the button link. It takes the user to the lead form on the same page. How can I add a UTM parameter to this?

I did not want to provide a complete link because I don’t want to lose the UTM parameters which are on the URL of the page
The reason I want to provide a UTM parameter with the anchor link is to be able to send the subscription type to the lead form where I can capture the data in a hidden field and pass it to my lead management system. Do you have any other ideas on how to pass this information?

I am not able to share the page link because the page is still in Draft stage and has not been published.

Hello,

I put hyperlinks in the footer of my ‘standard’ email templates, for easy access to important information. So, for example,
Must Read!

However, in the email UTM parameters are added to the hyperlink; for example:
https://xxxxxx.yy/must_read/?utm_source=mailpoet&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nieuws-newsletter-post-title_10.

I do not want tracking, in this case. I do not want to give the impression of tracking. I have disabled open and click tracking in the MailPoet settings, but that does not help.

Is there a way to avoid these UTM parameters being added?

Redirect doesn’t work with utm parameters

I created a redirect rule pointing the URL /mestre-em-gestao-de-trafego to /especialista-em-ads-performance which works fine

But when I append utm parameters to /mestre-em-gestao-de-trafego URL, the redirect doesn’t work

How can I solve this problem?
