Remove from search results if disabled the single download page

Hi,

A] when “Disable the single download page for this download item” is selected, the document appears in WordPress search results.

This topic was reported a year ago without solution at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/download-shows-up-in-search-result/

I found https://thomasgriffin.com/how-to-include-custom-post-types-in-wordpress-search-results/ which might be inspiration for solution.

B] No matter if the above will work, IMHO there should be added a 301 or 302 redirect to file URL if:
1) is choosed “Disable the single download page for this download item”
2) and the file is Published and Public

The redirect will be much more usefull than current message that administrator blocked the single page…

Could you please implement the above?

Popup maker UI needs evaluation…

You can make some really nice popups with the popup maker feature. However, the user interface is kind of clunky and you end up going around in circles trying to chase down the settings for the element on the popup that you are trying to edit. For example, change the color of the title… change the image… change the popup close icon… sure you can eventually find them. But it can get really tedious. Recommend so that user can click on any element like the image, the title, the close button… and the editor on the right will automatically show the settings for the element selected. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for a great plugin.

Hi, whenever you might work on the interface,
my colleagues (no so tech focused) have an issue with setting the code and then activate it.

They miss the activate button because on a small screen e.g. macbook air, its not in the viewport.

It says

So people think this is an optional step.
Having the actual step 2 there somewhere visible would be great.

I like this plugin a lot! Have used it so far for one email to a couple thousand subscribers which is a good test, and it looks rock solid.

The downsides: the UX is a little janky (for example, Subscribers > Unsubscription and Subscription > Unsubscription both lead to the same fairly useless page which lets you customize the unsubscribe message. Subscribers > Statistics > By Time shows two confusing line graphs… apparently the “by day” is subscribers added each day non-cumulatively, and “by month” is the same info cumulatively? Seems like there could be better statistics.) We got 20 unsubscriptions and ALL 20 show the EXACT same time and date for when they unsubscribed… is that a bug or did Newsletter’s unsub link get auto-clicked by the mail client? And the documentation isn’t always great; I used trial-and-error to figure out which variable name to use for subscriber firstname because the docs were no help. Lastly, the mail tester at aboutmy.email says that the Newsletter list-unsubscribe header is outdated. “List-Unsubscribe header has been MIME encoded. This may work at some mailbox providers but is not valid.”

That said, these are minor gripes compared to the overall positive: this does the job well, it supports unsubscribe headers and list mail merge, and it creates a legit unsubscribe page on my WordPress site for full Google/Yahoo compliance.

Hi,

I use WPC AJAX Add to Cart and WPC Fly Cart for WooCommerce. Thanks for the really useful plugins.
One thing I miss is for the add to cart plugin to show a loading icon (or any other visual indication) while it is doing the ajax call. Because the lack of it, the user has the impression that the click in the add to cart button did not work.

Could you think about adding this in a future release? Thank you!

It’s pretty easy decision to give this plugin 5 starts. It was easy to find, easy to install. Simple and fulfilling – functionality wise – installation and setup process. Great customization options, great backend workflow with the help of an android (or iOS) app. The chat itself works flawless, messages have minimal to unnoticeable delay. Support amiable and helpful. Really very hard to find something wrong. Of you focus very much to find something wrong, you will find, but the experience with chat, gives you no reason to search for flaws. It just works and looks and behaves like the live chat should. Period. Highly recommending!

Terrible spam in backend of my WP admin

I have to modify my website to remove all Royal Elementor widgets, as their “Introducing New Widgets” banner ad is showing up on ever single page of my WP dashboard — with FIREWORKS, and it’s huge. It’s almost cute the first time, but even after I dismiss it, it comes right back. C’mon guys, really?!?!?! Soooo annoying and not cool. Removing all Royal plugins from my site and will not use anything from this dev again. Shame, as we had actually subscribed to the Royal Elementor Addons Pro (Premium) already, but it still doesn’t stop them from spamming my screen.

What is the purpose of Popup block editor on right side?

If we already have settings to control behavior of custom pop-ups on posts, pages and taxonomy, then what is the purpose of having a popup setting drop down on the right side in the block editor? It just creates clutter for no reason. What’s it there for and how can we hide it?

some other block plugins like stackable will force popup maker to the bottom which is nice, but with default gutenberg block, popup maker is hogging the top spot on the block editor options. boo!
