I have a website (https://sailingfast.co.uk/) where we’re having a very odd VAT issue.
A couple of times over the past few days, my client has noticed that their product prices (entered inclusive of VAT) are showing the same price as the ex VAT price suffix, ie showing both prices as excluding VAT which isn’t correct. Then when we look again shortly after, the product price shows as the correct amount (including VAT). I have since updated everything but the issue has randomly happened again a few days later and nothing has been updated as to how product prices are displayed etc.
I have no idea where to start with this! Can anyone give any advice/point me in the right direction please?
Thanks so much in advance.
]]>I am trying to hide the price display suffix on everything except the product page because I have variation products so on the category page some products show the price suffix (the single products) and the products with which have variations and a range of price show no price display suffix which makes the page look odd.
It would be best if I simply hide the price display suffix and only show it on the product page for all my products.
Thank you so much in advance.
]]>I’ve set up VAT as including taxes for digital products.
In my cart and checkout the tax appears after the total amount as:
“(includes $xy VAT)”
I would rather much prefer what I saw on other shop sites:
“(includes $xy VAT estimated for [country])”
My question:
1) is this from an older version of woocommerce? a customization by the theme I’m using, is it a plug-in or can I set this up in WooCommerce myself?
How can I set up this “estimated for [country]” line?
2) can I position the (includes $xy VAT ect) text in front of the total price with a hook or filter? Would be great because of design/layout reasons…
Thanks and all the best!

]]>thanks for your nice plugin. But I have a problem with the VAT display because of our international customers. German customers have to pay 19% VAT but customers from other countries don’t. The pdf invoice does, for each customer and country, correctly display the total invoice amount (including 19% for german customers and no VAT for foreign custumors), but the german VAT figures on all invoices above the total invoice amount. I would like to know how I can get off the VAT displaying on the PDF invoice for foreign customers. I tried to set up some code to detect the country code by registered billing address but it didn’t work. I would be very grateful for any idea or help from you. Thanks in advance
