Uncheck ‘Show Google Maps Link’ in Venues – REVISITED

I’ve started doing some TEC customizations this year. I just stood up a fresh new WP site dedicated to my TEC customization projects. I wanted to uncheck both “Show Map” and “Show Map Link” for a Virtual Venue but “Show Map Link” stayed checked. I found the discussion about this at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/uncheck-show-google-maps-link-in-venues/
but still couldn’t resolve it.

The fresh WP install provided the Twenty Twenty-Four theme. I went thru the deactivation of all non TEC plugins but the issue remained. I then changed the theme to Divi – and Voilà – it worked!

List Matches by Venue Shortcode

Is there a shortcode that would list out all the matches to be played in a certain venue? Much like what is displayed on the Venue template page?

I am trying to add a page with a little more info per venue and would like to include the matches at that venue at the bottom of the page. I can’t seem to find it in any documentation.

The second time that my costumers cant create events – from one day to another – without any changes. We buyed the Pro Plugin and we really regret it very much. Its to expensiv for this allways new broken funcionality. If you wanna have a professional website dont use this plugin, better to make your own! it could spend time and money!

Minimum once per month are coming new problems. Switching of the gutenberg editor doesn’t help anymore. For every event are shown 2 or 3 Venues, that cant#t be deleted or edit. This plugin costs more than the licence. Its cost your nervs and time. If you like to be a paying betatester – take it!

Import events / _EventVenueID

I have export the events/venues/org data by WP Import Export Lite plugin, tried to import to a new site, I did import venuel/org via events import function first, when I tried to import events data, but the venues is match as Id, after import , the venues id have been change, how to match them?

The Events Calendar venue and organizer pages are not visible

We are replacing Calendarize -it with the events calendar plugin. I have created a few sample venues and organizers and are trying to see the specific pages for those. When I enter the URL I am redirected to the home page. On the admin pages the “view” link does not appear.

I am brand new to WordPress, this app is an outlier in our organization so I have not had any experience with it. I am not sure how to go about debugging

Would you consider doing a little work on the backend venue list management for one of the next releases? There’s no search/filter option and no way to extend the number of venues shown per page. We are now on over 20 tabs/pages of accumulated international venues. Finding individual ones to i.e. change name/phone details etc. is becoming increasingly inefficient.

I can see how to create venues – and they get published – but how can you view a venue?

Venues only appear on the front end for the user that created them

We are having trouble using the venues. We have added 20 venues to WP event manager, but they are only appearing on the front end for the user that created them. Any other user cannot see them. We have multiple users adding events to the calendar for multiple venues.

It’s impossible to modify the “State or Province:” field in Venues.

Hello, I encountered a problem with the “State or Province” field.
Each time I try to modify it shows me the empty field end the original value doesn’t change in the database.

I also tried a fresh installation of WordPress with no other plugins installed but “The event calendar,” but the problem is the same.

I opened a ticket five days ago, but I have not received an answer yet.

I support multiple venues who utilize different ticketing platforms and need a centralized and easy way to display events. This plugin (especially the pro version) makes that all possible. They are able to list all of their events on Facebook and then Import Social Events puts them on their WP sites easily. It’s also nice for me as it’s easy to customize the look and feel of the events using CSS and the Divi Theme Builder. Support is extremely responsive. If I could give 10 stars I would.
